Pl take my Salam.
So called National Election is done with 5-10% votes cast.
As usual, govt is playing game on different fronts - all with an
aim to divert national as well as international attention against
its misdeeds done with a democratic election process. One
such front is 'Minority Issue', a long time favored subject of
the ruling party in Bangladesh politics. They treat the Minority
community as their own custody and used them as per their
interest for last 40 years after the great liberation war.
Most of the properties of that community - sold or lost - are
at the possession of the people of that party at power. That
alone indicates a lot, though, Jamat is blamed for all kind of
oppressions against the minority community. Though, none
one of the minority community are killed or got tandom cut
as per so called pattern of Jamat traditional actions. Such
operations are seen limited within vandalism and arson - all
within a limit, may be to make the minority community feel
panicked and threatened. Who gains out of such scenario ?
responsibilities set by the constitution, why the demarcation &
division of majority & minority come. Lots of features and fact
finding news clippings are now available around on this dirty
minority game. I hope to place some here in DDD. The first
one starts with respected Mr Serajur Rahman. Thanks.

সংখ্যালঘু নির্যাতন নিয়ে রাজনীতির মারাত্মক খেলা

এসব বিবর্তন শেখ হাসিনার জন্যে অবশ্যই প্রচণ্ড আঘাতস্বরূপ। বিশেষ করে তাঁর এতকালের
অনুগত ভোটব্যাংকের এই আকস্মিক 'বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা'। নির্বাচনের পর থেকে হিন্দুদের ওপর
নির্যাতন বেড়েই চলেছে। নেত্রকোনা জেলার বটতলা গ্রামে ৮ জানুয়ারি রাতে হিন্দু মন্দিরের
তালা ভেঙে কেরোসিন ঢেলে ভেতরে আগুন লাগিয়ে দেয়া হয়। ইউনিয়ন আওয়ামী লীগ নেতা
আব্দুল খালেক বলেছেন, নির্বাচনে (হিন্দুরা) বিজয়ী প্রার্থী ছবি বিশ্বাসকে ভোট দেয়ায় নিজ দলের
হতাশ বিরোধী পক্ষ এ ঘটনা ঘটিয়েছে। এক ডজনের বেশি জেলার ডেপুটি কমিশনার প্রশাসনকে
জানিয়েছেন সংখ্যালঘুদের ওপর হামলা ও নির্যাতন নিয়ে তারা বেকায়দায় আছেন, কেননা
অধিকাংশ ক্ষেত্রেই আওয়ামী লীগ দলের কর্মীরাই এসব ঘটনার সঙ্গে জড়িত। বাংলাদেশ হিন্দু-
বৌদ্ধ-খ্রিস্টান ঐক্যপরিষদের কেন্দ্রীয় নেতা সুব্রত চৌধুরী বিবিসিকে বলেছেন, সংখ্যালঘুদের
ওপর আক্রমণের জন্যে জামায়াত-শিবিরের ওপর দোষ চাপানো 'একটা স্লোগান হয়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে,
কিন্তু বহু স্থানে দেখা যাচ্ছে যে, আওয়ামী লীগের লোকজনই এসব ঘটনার সঙ্গে জড়িত।' …….__._,_.___
