Good article, but - who is listening him in Pakistan?

"
The perception of secularism doesn't necessarily mean negation or elimination of religion. It simply means tolerance and coexistence in matter of difference of religious beliefs and opinions. It is foregone that Pakistan as a theocracy or a country with a religious label cannot move forward and would always be trapped in a self-destructive ideological conflict. "

Smart people learn from others very quickly; that's their secret to success. Instead of learning from mistakes of our predecessor, Pakistan, Bangladesh is slowly following footsteps of Pakistan. Are we going to follow religious people or follow the path to secularism and democracy?  If you are not sure, look at Pakistan and learn from it before it's too late.

Let us ask a Pakistani how it feels like to have too much Islam pushed down the throat year after year. On the eve of Pakistan's general election, there is a cry for secular democracy . . . And here we are in Bangladesh, being bullied by a bunch of criminals, to turn the nation into a Zia-ul-Huq type of Pakistan.
