Did you really mean what you wrote in reply to my posting "
readers and members to expose decency and
aristocracy"? I am not sure what you mean by decency or aristocracy, Can you point me which part of my posting you did not find comfortable, please?
I live in the western world for last 20+ years, I don't know about you. I consider US electronic, print and web news portals are "decent" "aristocrat" enough.
Yet if I open any news paper of the country or if I watch/hear any news, commentary or talk show, I and you can find million time harsher words against any political leader in this country. Dear Alochok X, Character is not so fragile like ice to melt down with little harsh word. If it does then there must have some big problem.
I go to any party or convenient store in
By the way what is your name? My name is Shamim Chowdhury, Oh, you don't want to mention! That's fine. Let me call you Mr. Alochok X. Look, what you consider decency and royal aristocracy I may call it majestic meltdown behavior.
I will request you to watch western TV news, talk show, bloogs, web journal, newspaper etc and then tell me which part of my posting you did not liked. If you don't want to go that far, please watch some Hindi movie if not news I am sure you will get the taste of freedom and democracy. Moeen, Fakhruddin and Moinul kind of government has to do hundred year meditation under banyan tree to achieve not western but just the Indian style democracy with its thousand faults.
The way our law adviser Bar. Moinul runs his law and information ministry
The way he speaks lie left and right day and night
The number of rules he himself breaks a day
The number of farce he makes a day
Make me wonder about his real qualification, did he really pass law or he just forged his papers TOO!
So you want to "I only want to speak for the establishment of law &
> systematic procedure in the country
"
I am not sure how much of
I just can not imagine this could happen in any western world where I live in. Can you imagine some government officers walk into a TV station such as CBS, ABC or CNN and order to shut down the station just because they suspect that there nay have been some perjury obtaining license?
NO, answer is absolutely no even if any of these stations has forged not one or two but all documents to obtain transmitting license.
Once government provide license to any organization to start its broadcast it has to commence a full scale investigation to bring any charges against it. Upon completion of investigation government can sue them and take them to court, prove and get verdict that submitted papers are falls and only then government can revoke their license.
What Moinull did was not only legally wrong but morally and ethically wrong too. If this incident took place in US, Moinul's job would be gone by now.
I can give you description of many many occasions where law has been broken in such nasty manner that the entire subcontinent hasn't seen such violation since British raj.
Thanks
Shamim Chowdhury
