[ALOCHONA] Scandalous Shah Rukh Khan Night

Scandalous Shah Rukh Khan Night

Revenue department and various intelligence agencies in Bangladesh are actively investigating the huge irregularities, tax evasion and illegal money laundering of a local organizer named Antor Showbiz, which organized Shah Rukh Khan Night in Bangladesh recently.

Mumbai's Bollywood super-star Shah Rukh Khan was shown to have been paid US$ 72,000 only by the Bangladeshi event management company though the organizers paid approximately US$ 120,000 only to Jet Airways for chartering their aircraft which flew Shah Rukh Khan and members of his entourage along with Bollywood star Rani Mukherji, Arjun Rampal, Eisha Kopikar and Shefali Jariwala. According to sources, Shah Rukh Khan takes US$ 500,000 only for his appearance in any show in the world, which is excluding of air fare as well as accommodation and other expenses to be borne by the organizers. Because of special persuasion and lobbying of family friend of Shah Rukh Khan, he agreed to accept the Dhaka show for US$ 400,000, while Ranu Mukherji received US$ 100,000, Eisha Kopikar US$ 30,000, Arjun Rampal US$ 30,000 and Shefali Jariwala US$ 15,000. In this case, the total amount paid to the artistes from India is US$ 575,000. In addition, US$ 120,000 was paid to Jet Airways for chartering a round-trip flight. So the total amount trafficked outside Bangladesh through unofficial channel was exceeding US$ 650,000.

Antor Showbiz spent approximately US$ 75,000 for hotel and other expenses for the foreign artistes, while it spent US$ 40,000 for paying rent to Army Stadium as well as other costs of erecting the dais and hiring sound equipment and lights.

Though the organizers were supposed to sell 15,000 tickets for the show, it is well recorded and even the owner of Antor Showbiz, Swapan Chowdhury acknowledged in public that more than 27,000 tickets were already sold. From this sale, Antor Showbiz collected US$ 1.4 million. Furthermore, it received US$ 715,000 from Boishaki TV and Destiny Group; US$ 50,000 from Golden World; US$ 50,000 from Airtel; US$ 40,000 from Pepsi, US$ 25,000 from Igloo Ice Cream, US$ 25,000 from Shajib Group and few more thousands of dollars from various small sponsors. The total amount of gross income for this event was more than US$ 2.3 million.

In this case, Antor Showbiz made a net profit of US$ 1.5 million from the Shah Rukh Khan Night.

A highly placed source within National Board of Revenue in Bangladesh said Antor Showbiz has so far paid an amount of US$ 192,142 only, while the minimum amount of evaded taxes would be at least US$ 500,000.

Right after the Shah Rukh Khan Night, Antor Showbiz declared to Bangladeshi media that it already has signed necessary agreement with internationally known pop star Shakira, who would visit Bangladesh during February 2011. Now, sensing the possible legal actions taken by Bangladeshi authorities, Swapan Chowdhury and his family members are planning to leave Bangladesh secretly to avert serious legal complications.

It may be mentioned here that, Swapan Chowdhury and his wife Nasrin Chowdhury may face imprisonment for money laundering as well as evading taxes.

Subject: [ALOCHONA] Zia executed Taher 'under pressure'

Moudud tells HC; court seeks US journo Lifschultz's statement on Taher's trial

Col Taher
A tremendous pressure from some repatriated army officers had forced Ziaur Rahman to try and execute Colonel Abu Taher through a military tribunal in 1976, senior BNP leader Moudud Ahmed told the High Court yesterday.

Col Taher was a victim of the conflict between the repatriated officials, who did not fight the Liberation War, and freedom fighters in the army, he also said.

Moudud was reading out excerpts from his book -- Democracy and the Challenge of Democracy -- as the court during the hearing on a writ petition asked him to make statement in connection with the trial of Taher.

"The repatriated officers had found a new ally in Zia after the killing of Mujib and removal of Moshtaque [who took over immediately after the murder of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib on August 15, 1975]," Moudud quoted from the book.

The two sides [the officers and Zia] needed each other in order to survive both as a class and a force in the civil-military structure of the country, the book said.

When it came to sentencing Taher, all of the forty-six repatriated officers summoned by Zia to discuss the issue wanted he be hanged, the book says.

Moudud, however, did not go for details about the officials.

Moudud Ahmed, a former law minister, quoted from the book, "The question remains: why did Zia allow the execution of Taher, the person who freed him from captivity and installed him in power? During the war they fought in the same sector and were known to be very close friends for long."

Moudud finds an answer too: "In a difficult post-independence situation, Zia had to strike a balance with the repatriated officers to strengthen his own position in the army."

A conflict ensued as under the leadership of Col Taher, Gono Bahini [People's Army, an underground offshoot of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal in the early 70's] had killed many army officers, he said.

He told the court that he had put relevant information about the trial in his book and the HC should reach a decision not before going through it.

Moudud, however, told The Daily Star his statement was not part of the court proceedings.

He said his book is based on works of Lawrence Lifschultz, a veteran US journalist and writer, who had covered the trial of Col Taher.

The HC yesterday requested Lifschultz to appear before it at his convenience by January 26 for making a statement.

The court also directed Additional Attorney General MK Rahman and the foreign secretary to contact Lifschultz through email.

Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka Mohibul Haque informed the HC yesterday his office has no document on the trial of Col Taher.

An HC bench of Justice AHM Shamsuddin Chowdhury Manik and Justice Sheikh Md Zakir Hossain held the hearing which will resume on Sunday.

The writ petition, challenging the legality of the martial law trial, was jointly filed by Col Taher's wife Lutfa Taher, his brother Anwar Hossain and Fatema Yusuf, wife of Yusuf Ali Khan, who was given a life sentence by the same tribunal.

[ALOCHONA] All fingers pointed at one man

All fingers pointed at one man

A leading businessman yesterday came under heavy fire at a high-profile meeting on the recent stockmarket debacle.Allegations against the businessman was made at a four-hour-long meeting at the state guesthouse Padma between Finance Minister AMA Muhith and market stakeholders, comprising businessmen, capital market leaders, bankers and regulators.((The Daily Star)

Several high-profile individuals who were there said the businessman, also present at the meeting, is very close to the ruling party. The same businessman was also linked with the 1996 sharemarket scam but he remains scot-free, due to, what the government said, lack of evidence.

Bangladesh's stockmarket remained closed yesterday and stays closed today (Monday) for a crash that caused fund losses of millions of small investors. The benchmark Dhaka Stock Exchange general index (DGEN) fell nearly 1,800 points between December and January.

There is a lot of talk in the market that a few masterminds were behind market manipulation and the subsequent collapse. Many say that Ora Egarojon (they were 11) manipulated the market by doubling the index and prices of most shares in less than one year. These people allured lakhs of small investors across the country and pocketed crores of taka.

But one name surpassed others at the meeting, according to individuals who attended the meeting yesterday. The businessman's firms were in financial crisis only two years ago but since the middle of 2009 those started acquiring other businesses one after another.

"He was accused of manipulation at the meeting by many," said one of the meeting participants, asking not to be named. The participant quoted the businessman telling the meeting: "I feel insulted and am a successful businessman."

Calm at the meeting was lost and the finance minister had to intervene to pacify people

[ALOCHONA] India's shoot-to-kill policy on the Bangladesh border

India's shoot-to-kill policy on the Bangladesh border

Security officials openly admit that unarmed civilians trying to enter India illegally are being killed. Will the government act?

Indian Border Security Force

Do good fences make good neighbours? Not along the India-Bangladesh border. Here, India has almost finished building a 2,000km fence. Where once people on both sides were part of a greater Bengal, now India has put up a "keep out" sign to stop illegal immigration, smuggling and infiltration by anti-government militants.

This might seem unexceptional in a world increasingly hostile to migration. But to police the border, India's Border Security Force (BSF), has carried out a shoot-to-kill policy – even on unarmed local villagers. The toll has been huge. Over the past 10 years Indian security forces have killed almost 1,000 people, mostly Bangladeshis, turning the border area into a south Asian killing fields. No one has been prosecuted for any of these killings, in spite of evidence in many cases that makes it clear the killings were in cold blood against unarmed and defenceless local residents.

Shockingly, some Indian officials endorse shooting people who attempt to cross the border illegally, even if they are unarmed. Almost as shocking is the lack of interest in these killings by foreign governments who claim to be concerned with human rights. A single killing by US law enforcement along the Mexican border makes headlines. The killing of large numbers of villagers by Indian forces has been almost entirely ignored.

The violence is routine and arbitrary. Alauddin Biswas described to Human Rights Watch the killing of his 24-year-old nephew, who was suspected of cattle rustling, by Indian border guards in March 2010. "The BSF had shot him while he was lying on his back. They shot him in the forehead. If he was running away, he would have been shot in the back. They just killed him." The BSF claimed self-defence, but no weapons were recovered.

Nazrul Islam, a Bangladeshi, was luckier. "At around 3am we decided to cross the Indian border," he said. He was headed to India to smuggle cows back to Bangladesh. "As soon as the BSF saw us, they started firing without warning." Islam was shot in his arm, but survived.
Some of the victims have been children. One father recounted how his sons were beaten by BSF officers. "The BSF personnel surrounded the boys and without giving any reason started beating them with rifle butts, kicking and slapping them. There were nine soldiers, and they beat my sons mercilessly. Even as the boys fell down, the BSF men continued to kick them ruthlessly on their chest and other sensitive organs."
The border has long been crossed routinely by local people for trade and commerce. It is also crossed by relatives and friends separated by a line arbitrarily drawn by the British during partition in 1947. As with the Mexican border in the United States, the border has become an emotive issue in Indian politics, as millions of Bangladeshis now live in India illegally. Many are exploited as cheap labour.

India has the right to impose border controls. But India does not have the right to use lethal force except where strictly necessary to protect life. Yet some Indian officials openly admit that unarmed civilians are being killed. The head of the BSF, Raman Srivastava, says that people should not feel sorry for the victims, claiming that since these individuals were illegally entering Indian territory, often at night, they were "not innocent" and therefore were a legitimate target.

Though India is a state with functional courts, he apparently believes the BSF can act as judge, jury and executioner. This approach also ignores the many victims, such as a 13-year-old named Abdur Rakib, who broke no law and was killed simply because he was near the fence. Sadly, Bangladeshi border officials have also suggested that such killings are acceptable if the victim was engaged in smuggling.

As the recent WikiLeaks report about endemic torture in Kashmir underscores, Indian soldiers and police routinely commit human rights violations without any consequences. Permission has to be granted by a senior Indian official for the police to even begin an investigation into a crime committed by a member of the security forces, such as the BSF. This rarely happens.

The response of various government officials to allegations of a shoot-to-kill policy has been confusing: we do shoot illegal border crossers since they are lawbreakers; we don't shoot border crossers; we only shoot in self-defence; we never shoot to kill.
But there is some reason for hope. Under pressure, senior Indian officials have expressed revulsion at the behaviour of the BSF and have promised to send new orders to end the shoot-to-kill policy. They have committed to use nonviolent means to apprehend illegal border crossers or smugglers where they pose no risk to life. The question is whether this will be translated into action on the ground. Similar promises of "zero tolerance" for abuses have been made in Kashmir and elsewhere but have not been fulfilled.
As India's economy has grown and foreign investors have flocked in, its human rights record has largely flown under the radar in recent years. But India is a growing world power with increasing influence. It should understand that its behaviour will come under increasing scrutiny. Routinely shooting poor, unarmed villagers is not how the world's largest democracy should behave.

RE: [ALOCHONA] Islamophobia is rife in UK, says Warsi

If Islamophobia is rife in the western world who is responsible for that, Bush, Tony Blair or the Muslims themselves? When a Muslim born and raised in Britain
turns to be a subway or airline bomber against their own country and the Muslims say Allahu Akbar who is to be blamed? What comes first to them, their motherland or their faith? If faith comes first why they live in a country which is governed by a non Muslim or a so called infidel? They should migrate to
Saudi Arabia if their brothers in faith accepts them. Hypocrisy and ignorance must have their limits.

Subject: [ALOCHONA] Islamophobia is rife in UK, says Warsi

Baroness Warsi says Muslim prejudice seen as normal

Controversial: Baroness Warsi will use a speech to attack Britain's approach to Islam, claiming Islamophobia is seen as normal and acceptable at dinner parties

Prejudice against Muslims has "passed the dinner-table test" and become socially acceptable in the UK, a senior Conservative is to say.

Baroness Warsi, co-chairman of the Tory Party, will warn against dividing Muslims into moderates and extremists.
The baroness, the first Muslim woman to serve in the cabinet, will say such labels fuel misunderstanding.

She will use a speech at Leicester University to accuse the media of superficial discussion of Islam.Baroness Warsi will say anti-Muslim prejudice is now seen by many Britons as normal and uncontroversial, and she will use her position to fight an "ongoing battle against bigotry".

In extracts of the speech, published in the Daily Telegraph, the peer blames "the patronising, superficial way faith is discussed in certain quarters, including the media", for making Britain a less tolerant place for believers. She is expected to reveal that she raised the issue of Islamophobia with Pope Benedict XVI during his visit to Britain last year, urging him to "create a better understanding between Europe and its Muslim citizens".

'Social rejection'

The BBC's religious affairs correspondent Robert Pigott said Baroness Warsi is to say publicly what many Muslims privately complain about - that prejudice against them does not attract the social stigma attached to prejudice against other religious and ethnic groups.Continue reading the main story

"Lady Warsi has broached the issue before," Robert Pigott says."She told the 2009 Conservative Party conference that anti-Muslim hatred had become Britain's last socially acceptable form of bigotry, and claimed in a magazine article last October that taking a pop at the Muslim community in the media sold papers and didn't really matter."

In her speech, she is expected to say the description of Muslims as either moderate or extremist encourages false assumptions."It's not a big leap of imagination to predict where the talk of 'moderate' Muslims leads; in the factory, where they've just hired a Muslim worker, the boss says to his employees: 'Not to worry, he's only fairly Muslim'," she will say.

"In the school, the kids say: 'The family next door are Muslim but they're not too bad'."And in the road, as a woman walks past wearing a burka, the passers-by think: 'That woman's either oppressed or is making a political statement'."

Baroness Warsi will say terror offences committed by a small number of Muslims should not be used to condemn all who follow Islam. But she will also urge Muslim communities to be clearer about their rejection of those who resort to violent acts."Those who commit criminal acts of terrorism in our country need to be dealt with not just by the full force of the law," she will say.

"They also should face social rejection and alienation across society and their acts must not be used as an opportunity to tar all Muslims." Asked about Baroness Warsi's speech, a No 10 spokesman said she was expressing the view that there needed to be a debate "about the issue of radicalisation in Great Britain and terrorism".

----------------------

Muslim baroness warns the 'bigots': Dinner party Islamophobia is rife, says Warsi

The  first Muslim woman Cabinet minister will today launch a controversial attack on Britain's approach to Islam.Baroness Warsi will caution that Islamophobia is seen as normal and acceptable at dinner parties.

The Tory Party chairman will warn that describing Muslims as 'moderate' or 'extremist', fosters prejudice against them. In a speech at the University of Leicester, she will pledge to use her position to wage an 'ongoing battle against bigotry'.

Lady Warsi will say: 'It's not a big leap of imagination to predict where the talk of "moderate" Muslims leads.'In the factory, where they've just hired a Muslim worker, the boss says to his employees: "Not to worry, he's only fairly Muslim".

'In the school, the kids say: "The family next door are Muslim but they're not too bad". And in the road, as a woman walks past wearing a burka, the passers-by think: "That woman's either oppressed or is making a political statement".'

Her high-profile intervention suggests that the Government is more willing than its Labour predecessors to tackle sensitive issues of race and religion. But Lady Warsi's controversial speech will lay her open to the charge that she has sided with her own community at a time when Christian leaders are also concerned that public respect for their faith has diminished.

The Tory chairman will say that terrorist offences committed by a small number of Islamists must not be used to condemn all Muslims. But she will also acknowledge concerns about the failure of some British Muslims to integrate into Western society. And she will warn that some Muslim communities must do more to ostracise extremists.

[ALOCHONA] Re: Falani Killing and our response

Mr. Golam

I am not surprised with your  reply to the pertinent question of the HR of Bangladeshis at the hands of the BASTRAD  HINDUSTAN. You have again proven that you are an able lover of Hindustan like many K. Jibis who are holding the flag of "Chetonadhari" to uphold the cause of their father HINDU STAAAAAAN.

You have reiterated the clause of Quote: Universal Declaration of Human Rghts " "Article 1 All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood." Unquote:

But you have not mentioned that whether this is only applicable for Bangladeshis and not for the BASTARD HINDUSTANIS ????????????? The way the Bestial Security Force(bsf) acts which transpires that it is applicable one sided and the seat of the present power do connive to such gruesome murders n taken the vow not to protest to pay off debt for helping to be in the seat of power.

Bangladesh is the only nation in the world that it is packed up with "Gwan Papis" in guise of K. Jibis/Cultural activist/writers n Oikko Porishad etc etc whose aim is to defame the martyred Mukti Jodhdhas by betraying their cause of their sacrifice and slowly turned the nation they freed at the cost of the lives to be subjugative, submissive and subservient one to the whims and caprice the beast HINDU STAAN.
But the truth is that the majority of the populace do neither subscribe nor feels pride in undermining the sovereignty of Bangladesh which is being compromised.

The crocked gong and paid agents of HINDU STAAN do not leave any stone unturned to defame and use nasty language at the detractors  to satisfy their father HINDU STAAAAAN. The Huakkka Hua Khekh Shials starts blowing the horns of Fundamentalism/Razakar/anti Chetona bla bla bla day in and day out.

Mr. Golam be it very clear to Hindu Stani agents  that I have nothing to lose to BASTARD HINDU STAN since I am a proud Bangladeshi and not paid  agent of HINDU Dadas and hold " LAL  SABUJ  PATAKA" high in the sky no matter of any beasts aggression or betrayal acts of HINDU  STAAANI   QUISLINGS implanted inside the holy Land of Bangladesh.

I firmly believe that whosoever upholds the cause and interest other than h/her own motherland are nothing but straight termed as traitors as the GHREENITO JANWAR RAZAKARS are. Lately the pro Hindu Staaani Paa Chata Dalals have been termed as " HINDU  STAAANI RAZAKARS" which is to the patriots are appropriate since this will go in the pages of history.

To me HINDU STAAN can never be friend of Bangladesh since it does not have any iota of respect to our independence and sovereignty and fingers us( it does the same bestial act with small neighbours around) on and often to undo our peace, stability, solidarity and development. The HINDU  STAAAANIS may be friend to those who reaps personal benefit at the cost of Bangladesh.

Why even we can't protest such incidents in strong voice ?
Why we are not protesting such barbaric killings in World forums like United Nations ?
Bangladeshi human rights organizations should be more vocal against such barbarism.
Communal BSF has no regret while they kill Bangladeshis(most of them are muslim).
Why our Home Minister and Foreign Minister is silent ?
Home Ministry protested to India After almost ten days . Why it took ten days to file protest ?

Can't we treat Falani as our own daughter ?

Dear Mr. Faruque Alamgir and Friends,

Thank you for your reply, India- Bangladesh border is an unfortunate death graveyard almost like the  USA Mexico border.  possibly the objective news and analysis is given below by Dan Moshenberg, dmoshenberg@gmail.com

There is a similarity of the problem, illegal immigrants come to USA and to India , mostly one way traffic for economic reason, all UN member countries USA , India, Mexico, and Bangladesh all agreed to secure their borders for the safety , security, and not to trespass the border without due permissions, passport, visa and necessary papers etc. , violators are supposed to be arrested and due legal process is supposed to be followed,  Bangladesh and India should both be responsible for incidents like that such is also good for USA and Mexico. It is very unfortunate incident: let us urge both the countries to take proper actions to avoid such incidents like Canadian and USA border does not or rarely have incidents like that.
Mr. F. Alamgir.  I want to reiterate the  Article 1  of
Universal Declaration of Human Rghts (    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Declaration_of_Human_Rights   )

"Article 1
All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood."
It looks like whoever tries to reason something specially about America, India or reasonable behavior of Islam followers , you become agitated, emotional, and over acting and over defensive losing your  "reason and conscience" it means you become nearer to animal than to Human Being, please do not behave like that it shows your unbalanced mental condition or you might be graduating or promoting yourself from one group to next group in the cadre of-1) regular moderate Muslim, 2)Fundamentalist Muslim, 3) Fanatic Muslim, 4)Terrorist Muslim ( all in their own respective belief of heaven to best of the best heaven in their after world). Please minutely be factual,  careful, and  cautious to cross the borderline there  one  also like Bangladesh- India borders??!! Being victims of border graveyard knowingly or unknowingly, innocently or uninnocently.
Regards.
Yours sincerely,
Golam F. Akhter

Haunts: The State expresses its grief, and Felani is dead

Jan 15th, 2011
by admin.

Children, girls and boys, are being killed by Indian soldiers on the India-Bangladeshi border. Each time it happens, the State claims grief and promises never again. The most recent girl to suffer this indignity, last week, was a fifteen-year-old girl named Felani:

"Indian border forces have handed over to Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) the body of 'Felani', 15, who was shot dead on Friday as she had gotten entangled in barbed-wire while crossing the border.… In the meeting, BDR condemned the brutal killing of the teenaged girl. BSF had expressed its grief over the incident and assured that such incident will not take place in future."

What is to done with the grief of States expressed each time border troops kill or maim someone? What is the worth of their repeated assurances? Where is the future in which border guards will not shoot at children caught on barbed wire? And what is the name of the space that separates the dead body of 15 year old Felani, about whom the State is silent, and `the incident' over which the State expresses its grief?

Apparently Felani and her father left their home in Bangladesh ten years ago and crossed into India. They were on their way home because a marriage to a local boy had been settled. Felani's father successfully scaled the border fence. Felani got tangled up in the barbed wire and started to scream. The Indian Border Security Forces heard the screams, saw the girl, came, shot her and waited for her to die. Some say she bled and screamed for four hours, others say for less time. Whatever the duration, Felani, a fifteen- year-old girl, hanging upside down from the border fence, riddled with bullets, bleeding and screaming, died. The BSF then waited and finally cut her down and carried her away, hands and feet bound to a pole, like so much animal carcass. A day or so later, they arranged the meeting where they returned the body and expressed grief … over the incident.

Bangladeshis, and Indians, have expressed outrage at the incident and shock and disgust at the photographs. But who expresses grief at the border fence?

According to a Human Rights Watch report issued just last month, the Border Security Forces at that particular border are `trigger happy'. Children, such as 12-year-old Rumi Akhter Nipa, are routinely, randomly and indiscriminately shot. What do girls, like Rumi, want? According to Dr. Abdus Samad who treated her, she simply wants a daily life, to start school. What do children, like Rumi Akhter Nipa, get? "A pattern of grave abuses". And, as Felani's story suggests, they are to be considered the lucky ones.

The borderland is a graveyard. As long as the State, any State, is ruled by security first, as long as the borders are considered primary and the crossers, with or without documents, are secondary, the borderland will remain a graveyard. That is the reason that "despite numerous complaints no member of the BSF has been arrested, much less held to account in civilian courts." Hundreds of Bangladeshis and of Indians have been killed and not a single member of the BSF has been arrested. Felani is not alone.

Grief emerges from graves, not from incidents. Apologies cover incidents, shrouds cover the bodies of the dead. The State of India expresses its grief? And Felani is dead.

Mr. Golam

Truth is always very harsh for the BAL activists and the so-called  sole agents of Chetonadhari  who doesn't have the guts or courage to protest the bestial acts of the bestial friend HINDU STAAAAAN. Whenever there is a issue of serious violation of HR by the beast the ordinary people protest but the high ups try to cover up the issue but it is done destroying the national interest.

Mr. Golam,  If people term a beast for it's bestial acts there is nothing wrong. HINDU STAN is the only and the only nation in the sub-continent that fingers all it's small and weak neighbours and make their politico-economic life hell n forces them to be subservient with the connivance of the Paa Chata Dalals in thousands in guise of Chetona/Oikko Porishad/culture etc etc.

Do you think that killing of one innocent unarmed Bangladesh in every four days by the Bestial Security Force(bsf) is an  act to be overlooked or let it go unabated as is done by the successive government after independence?????? But why ???????????? Did the blood of the Martyred Mukti Jodhdhas
sacrificed to make the Bangladeshi target of the bullet of the beast ??????? Oh No Sir No !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There will be protest for sure from the concerned citizens who treats this as heinous act of aggression on a sovereign country as per International Law.

Finally, I am wondering how could you term me as anti Islam. I really now doubt your acumen in judging people !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, like the millions of my fellow citizen of independent Bangladesh I am anti HINDU  STAAN since it is a rogue country and do not have iota of respect for the small nations around it as independent entity.

Good luck and best wishes Mr. Golam.

Dear Mr. Faruque Almgir  and friends,

I contacted US State Department and other news publication on Secretary Hillary Clinton and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's tele conversation on !6th January.
State Department spokes person said that the The Facebook Tele-conversation is fake and distorted. They will publish a statement in this regard within 48 hours.
Let us wait and I shall tell our friend Mr. Faruque Alamgir also to wait and see before he spreads venom of anti-American, anti-Indian , and anti-Real Islam poison. In the meantime please concentrate to reply to my earlier allegation that "you are anti- real Islam and ani-Human Rights" bringing him closer to 'reasonless and consciousless' being.

Friends

Does Bangladesh do have any prowess to protest ???? To my understanding we do not have any since we have lost our right by betraying the cause of the blood of the millions of Martyred Mukti Jodhdhas n submit unconditionally to the whims and caprice of the bestial boss HINDUSTAN.
This is truth n nothing but truth.

Since independence none of the successive government could raise any protest(for n except Zia's short tenure)  against the onslaught of the bestial HINDU STAN rather acted like a turtle by hiding the face in the cave . This is a shame for us for failing the cause of ocean of blood  sacrificed by the Martyred. The main shame for us that our small country has so many( in thousands) of Paa chata dalals of the beast in guise of Jibis who are ready to blew the "CHUNGA" of the Hayeina to cover up the atrocities done by them.

We need to be serious that  what we want and what is our(Bangladesh's) sense of direction should be n do we really want to stand up raising our head high with our coveted "LAL  SABUJ  PATAKA" flying high with dignity n honour as a sovereign entity in the comity of nation ????????

Let the heroic sacrifice of the Martyrs remain ever glowing in the "Akash Batash Nodi Prantor" of BANGLADESH  n the Lal Sabuj Pataka to fly high with right dignity n honour forever n ever.

Hell with HINDU  STAAANI Paa Chata Dalals n Paki Janwar's Doshors !!!!!!!!!

If the conversation between Hillary and Hasina is true, how we should react ?
Until now Hasina government did not protest about this leak. We have to wait for their response and than people and human rights group can react.
This days nothing is secret and information technolgy can report most confidential communications between the governments that might compromise national interest.

Thank you,

Transcript of Hillary Clintons tele-conversation with Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina:

Prime Minister Hasina (PM): Good Morning, Madame Secretary. I am very pleased to hear your voice.

Secretary Clinton: Good afternoon Madame Prime Minister. I hope I reached you at a good time.

PM: Yes, yes, you reached me at a good time. For you, any time is good time for me. Please feel free to call me anytime.
Secretary: Madame Prime Minister I have been updated by Ambassador-at-Large Stephen Rapp about his visit to Dhaka. Honestly, at the request of New Delhi, we sent him there and tried our best to help you better organize the trial. After listening from Amb. Rapp and our Ambassador Moriarty, I felt obligated to inform you that both I and President Obama take the issue of human rights in its proper spirit. It is on this context, I called you to inform you that United States does not support the trial in its form and content. Bangladesh has to reform the whole process in a way so that it doesn't become a conduit of punishing opposition.

PM: Madame Secretary, I understand your concern and I already asked my Law Minister to take note of what Amb. Rapp suggested. This is a trial we undertook with active support and assistance of New Delhi. I am sure Indian Ambassador in Washington DC will brief you further on that.

Secretary:  Prime Minister, United States stands for a certain values and policies which may or may not be the likes of New Delhi. Of course, we have been attentive to New Delhi's most of the suggestions but this one I thought I should forewarn you.

PM: Madame Secretary we noted your concerns and can tell you this much that this was in our manifesto and our people would like to see the trial should go on.

Secretary: Absolutely, but that has to done  in an way so that it is accepted internationally. I am sure, even people who voted for your party, may not accept the trial in its form and format which is, to our view, flawed and politically motivated. President Obama working hard to bring peace to your part of the world, Madame Prime Minister. Therefore, United States would not allow any action that may only help some legitimate political forces going underground to create more problem for you and thereby, for us as well.

PM: I understand. I understand. Don't worry we will fix it. Don't take it that seriously. We are doing it as we have to do and there are some culprits who we need to straighten up.

Secretary: Ambassador Rapp also informed me about your government's influence on the Judiciary and I was told how Judiciary is giving verdict they way you want. This is not good at the end. You have to be watchful.

PM: Thank you, thank you. I always value suggestion from yourself and President Clinton.

Secretary: Madame Prime Minister, let me come to the core point for which I called you. As you have seen even Washington Post picked up your treatment to Dr.Yunus and Grameen Bank. I thought it is about time to tell you how upset we are in Washington DC. I am personally upset because Dr.Yunus has been a family friend to the Clintons long before his wining of Nobel Prize.  President Clinton is equally upset. Hope you are aware how hard he worked to see Dr.Yunus gets this award. I know people may have personal issues, but when it comes to national icon like Dr.Yunus, I thought Bangladesh shouldn't demonize country's only Nobel Laureate.

PM: Madame Secretary, please listen, please listen----

Secretary: Madame Prime Minister, please let me finish first. I hope you are aware that President Obama is a big fan of micro-credit. He is a fan of microfinance since his mother had her thesis on this subject. So, I am making this call to let you know how upset both of us-President Obama and I-at your continued effort to demonize Dr.Yunus.

PM: Madame Secretary, I hope you are aware that it is not us who brought this issue. Norway is the first to complain about Dr.Yunus's misplaced fund. After all, this is our domestic issue and Madame Secretary we will do it  as per our own rules and regulations.

Secretary: Madame Prime Minister, I thought I would not have to go that far. But, unfortunately, I was wrong. I hope you know as much we know, how your government came to power. Don't forget that we helped you congratulating you after the election terming it as a free and fair. You know Prime Minister, how this election result was pre-arranged at the behest of our good friends in New Delhi. We acted the way they suggested us. And please don't forget that Gen. Moyeen, who brought you to power, now in the USA and perhaps, we now know, more than you could possibly imagine. Prime Minister, I am not saying that we will disown you so soon. I am just trying to place issues in the order of history demands it.

PM: Madame Secretary we are aware of your support and assistance. We will do all we can to keep you happy. Don't worry. We noted your point. Now let me know when you are coming to visit my country.

Secretary: Thanks for the invitations, Madame Prime Minister. I thank you for your time.

PM: Madame Secretary, Please bring President Clinton and your daughter and son in law.

Hilary hangs up on the other side
