Those constant numbers derived from great calculations and seem to reflect actual reality as close as possible. How else would anybody can calculate the area of a circle? I fully understand why many people think mind is real. The problem is: a real thing does exist in reality or can be created/built with the raw materials. Old fashioned and unscientific approach will take us nowhere except that it will simply help us in engaging fascinating but unproductive intellectual exercises. Number of neurons and their configuration and complexity in the brain explain many phenomena including memory and learning of our mental faculty. I will say that mind is real although not tangible as I will continue to use Metaphysics ( and hence the adjective metaphysical) as a distinct branch of philosophy that deals with subjects not within the jurisdiction of science proper particularly Physics.
