The weeks leading up to the inauguration prepared me and my colleagues for what we thought would come, but not for what actually came. On Monday, January 23, I walked into the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, with the new staffers there. Rather than the excitement I encountered when I first came to the White House under Obama, the new staff looked at me with a cold surprise. The diverse White House I had worked in became a monochromatic and male bastion.
Decision-making authority was now centralized to a few in the West Wing. Frustration and mistrust developed as some staff felt out of the loop on issues within their purview. There was no structure or clear guidance. Hallways were eerily quiet as key positions and offices responsible for national security or engagement with Americans were left unfilled.
The evening before I left, bidding farewell to some of my colleagues, many of whom have also since left, I notified Trump's senior NSC communications adviser, Michael Anton, of my departure, since we shared an office. His initial surprise, asking whether I was leaving government entirely, was followed by silence—almost in caution, not asking why. I told him anyway.I told him I had to leave because it was an insult walking into this country's most historic building every day under an administration that is working against and vilifying everything I stand for as an American and as a Muslim. I told him that the administration was attacking the basic tenets of democracy. I told him that I hoped that they and those in Congress were prepared to take responsibility for all the consequences that would attend their decisions. He looked at me and said nothing. It was only later that I learned he authored an essay under a pseudonym, extolling the virtues of authoritarianism and attacking diversity as a "weakness," and Islam as "incompatible with the modern West."

The lumpish brain of Jiten Roy had to dig in the realm of low-brow tabloids like the infamous The Daily Mail of London, and find the news about some obscure Clinton fund-raising irregularity back in 1996.

Surrendering to fanatics is not an options. There is a soft support for extremist. Another group is commercializing religion with media events. If media ignore these biz groups, sooner or later they will be reduced.
If you see election results in Pakistan, they are marginalized. With violence and Media they are relevant in the debate . For the future of the community and it's children this long and bloody battle is worth it..
A Muslim Woman Tried to Work in Trump's White House, Lasts Only 8 Days
(PETE SOUZA/WHITE HOUSE)This is what it looks like when a patriot faces a bunch of monsters.
Rumana Ahmed is a Muslim. She wears a hijab. And she has been working at the White House since 2011. Under President Obama, she was promoted to work at the National Security Council from the Office of Public Engagement. Since then, she has served as an adviser to President Obama, particularly in how he addressed and considered American Muslims. When Donald Trump won, most people in her shoes would have walked away instantly and found a new job. After all, Trump had traversed the country for two years spouting racist, xenophobic, sexist drivel, with a particular focus on anti-Muslim rhetoric.
But that's not what Rumana Ahmed did. She decided to stay on despite her disagreements, because protecting what America stands for is even more important when what it stands for is threatened. Then, eight days after the inauguration, she had to quit. Ahmed wrote an eye-opening piece about her experience for The Atlantic, which shows just how quickly the White House's culture changed on January 23, 2017.
But it wasn't just the whiteness that was surprising. It was the dysfunction. It was as if the entire national-security apparatus had been set on fire.
But perhaps the most painful and infuriating part of Ahmed's account is when she finally—after eight days! That's how fucked up this administration is!—decided to quit after Donald Trump's Oh, are those Muslim countries? I didn't even realize! Muslim ban was signed.
I told him anyway.
I told him I had to leave because it was an insult walking into this country's most historic building every day under an administration that is working against and vilifying everything I stand for as an American and as a Muslim.
You should read her entire piece, as it is a reminder in these dark times of what patriotism actually looks like. Because, as we continue to learn, especially in Trump's America, it's not minorities in Americawho are the threat.

Galileo's relationship with church doesn't tell whole story of religion played in science. People do use religion for personal and political ends at the expense of science, and promoting science is hardly a explicit purpose of it. Nonetheless, it had unintended favorable role in science for two millenniums. Now science has it own leg move forward in many communities .
Last 70 years Islamic leaders were alarmed by growing educated class, so employing new tact to keep them under leash, recruiting in scientific community to give impression they are on the top of things even when it comes science. Flush with petro dollar are hiring some savvy personalities of science to stretch truth to make religious personalities look very sophisticated to unsuspecting soul.
These souls are isolated from any potential detractors that may expose shortcomings of their selling points. Also pair them with someone who will shower with praises for joining the camp. These initiation are no different than the those of cult group. Sometimes threats of violence or isolation loom large in the distant background. But they are less aggressive in style than cult , so not to raise much suspicion in general population.
You will not get an argument from on secularism in education. I tell people from BDesh, secular practicing Islam or not are the best hope of Islam and the country. Ironically since mid eighties a peculiar phenomenon among BDesh secular practicing Islam, they are finding it increasingly hard to call themselves secular, they need to stop surrendering their identity (Iman) at the feet of katmullah. If they need religion in their life , they should learn to read the meaning of Koran. I know 2 Bangale who learned to do just that in less than 5 years, because of dedication they had for Islam. Now both claim themselves to be secular, only one is practicing secular muslim . Learning Quran is not an impossible feat, just need dedication. The hours they spend around katmullah for wisdom ends up being lot more than five years of their life, even though mullahs don't know the meaning of what they read. But in katmullah den , preaching has a salacious slant to it and rely on gossip, mixed with undue adulation make it more attractive than learn to read the meaning mostly all alone.
On kava, prophet did ask his follower to remove it, but Omar opposed it. Prophet first grand child was born in that place ( some pagan believed whoever born in there will grow up to be their future god). Immediately after the birth , first question from Prophet to Ali, if they felt any devil's presence in there. Then came the question about the new born. The first question tells me , he had reservation of sanctity of place where devil might visit. That grand child was brutally murdered in Karbala battle, it is not for curse of being born inside kava but that didn't protect him. At death bed, Prophet refused to appointment Omar to take over after his death, all because of his disobeying on removal of that place. that Holly. Place. Of pagan is still visited by million every year , in the foot steps of pagans.
