[mukto-mona] Re: {PFC-Friends} digit-AL minister: Bribe not illegal : Muhit

MUJIB LEFT BEHIND A STRONG LEGACY FOR HASINA TO FOLLOW
Abid Bahar

Before Ayub Khan made Mujib a hero, his colleagues in the AL knew him as the leader of the Suhrowadhy group (terror group). This is all mentioned by numerous Mujib's contemporaries ( leaders and authors). Such people vary from Toffazal Hossain Manik Mia to Kamruddin Ahamed and others.

Mujib led the Suhrowardhy group that murdered speaker Shahed Ali. It is also recorded that he personally used fist fight in his constituency in the United front election. Often time, he refused to follow any decorum of a meeting and used to arrive in a meeting say organized by Ataur Rahman but he would take it over and give speech undermining the organizers.
In the beginning in this type of unruly behavior, he was directly involved in attacking the opposition but later on as he matured, he used his cadres such as Korban Ali, Golam Mostafa, Abdur razzak, Tofail etc. Imagine, the man who surrendered in 1971 and betrayed with the nation and imposed the BKSAL dictatorship, is named as the father of the nation. Reading his life only tells us that he could be a good role model for Chatro League members. By the way, Chatro League was founded by him in his own image.

Like AK Fazlul Haque and Suhrowardhy, Mujib was not an educated man. He began his life as the Surowardhy cadre and he specialized on this subject of using force and intimidation against the opposition.. In the name of establishing democracy after his return from Pakistan, he deliberately killed Bangladeshis who opposed him and he killed the infant democracy. He used violence in politics and died violently.

Mujib left behind a great number of cadres, blind followers many of whom are simply following him as their prophet not knowing that he was the trickster, false prophet who left behind a legacy of corruption, nepotism and the practice of ruling the country by force. Mujib's short rule made the country bankrupt ( a bottomless basket"). Hasina follows her father's black coat's fascist tradition so devotedly that nobody knows where the country is heading for. This is because Mujib's model of ruling the country was totally wrong because it was the philosophy of a cadre turned a home grown dictator. For Bangladesh to survive, the tradition has to discontinue.

He is not a criminal. He is in fact a decent person.

But he suffers from the same malaise as most AL intellectuals:

1.       Mujib and AL have the divine right to rule over us

2.       Any real criticism of Mujib and AL is unacceptable

3.       All errors of Mujib and all crimes of AL are acceptable

As he is a minister he does not have the disgusting luxury of most AL intellectuals – to just keep quiet and pretend to be neutral.

He says such things when he tries to publicly reconcile his dream of AL and the real AL. He can't.

He invites mockery because it is a mockery to be decent and tolerate the biggest errors and crimes of AL (or BNP) at the same time.

Our intellectuals should have been neutral and fighting in the centre against AL and BNP. Instead they take sides.

I hate our intellectuals.

Finance Minister AMA Muhit claimed that taking or providing bribe is not illegal and the developed countries also legalized it called it 'speed money'.The Finance Minister said, "In my opinion, if someone gives something as gift to speed up the work is not illegal.

Muhit also admitted that he gave bribe for the driving license 40 years ago, but he has not agreed to call it illegal.

I did a google search and found out that Seindenberg should be corrected as Seidenberg.

Dr. Bain, please read the following comments - complement of Dr. Das:

"American mathematician A. Seindenberg has demonstrated that the Sulbasutras, the ancient Vedic mathematics, have inspired all the mathematic sciences of the antique world from Babylonia to Egypt and Greece. "Arithmetic equations from the Sulbatras were used in the observation of the triangle by the Babylonians and the theory of contraries and of inexactitude in arithmetic methods, discovered by Hindus, inspired Pythagorean mathematics", writes Seindenberg. In astronomy too, Indus were precursors: XVIIth century French astronomer Jean-Claude Bailly had already noticed that "the Hindu astronomic systems were much more ancient than those of the Greeks or even the Egyptians and the movement of stars which was calculated by the Hindus 4500 years ago, does not differ from those used today by even one minute". American Vedic specialist David Frawley has also demonstrated that the methods utilized in the building of Egyptian pyramids were also borrowed from the Hindus. "The funeral altars, for instance, he writes, which are also in the shape of pyramids, were known in the Vedic world under the name of smasana-cit"."

Let me change my mind here and make a couple of more comments, due to the misunderstanding of Dr. Roy.

I have not actually trashed the mythical and fictional stories of any religious book. I not only see their literary values, I do recognize that many of them were ahead of their time and place in terms of thoughts/imaginations/wisdom. My problem is with today's people claiming them to have in-depth or complete knowledge/understanding of science/technology, to be complete/perfect code of life, to be worth emulating, etc.

Dr. Bain, there is a difference between giving due credit to some mythic/fictional literatures and believing in them as facts. Religious people tend to believe those fictional stories as facts, and educated people have the responsibility to help them be aware of their misunderstanding. Just bad mouthing them as stupid people will not do the job.
Also, educated people should know that mythic/fictional stories have literary value and usefulness in our lives. Trashing those literature as rubbish, as you do, will not make you any superior to those religious bigots. This is not the way you can remove prejudice from religious peoples' minds. As an educated people, your responsibility is to give them proper knowledge, not hatred.
Dr. Bain, how can I or you trash something that we have not much knowledge of? With my limited exposures, I have learned that - those mythic literatures are Indian treasures, containing ocean of knowledge. Trashing them as rubbish will rather make us stupid.

Let me make my final comments on this thread. The claim that the Hindu religious books have in-depth knowledge of astronomy is worse than exaggeration. It is false. Those books have no in-depth or systematic knowledge. They have wild imaginations.

It is wrong for educated people like us to give too much credit to myths and wild imaginations from religious books, even when we agree that imaginations are needed for real innovations. People like us need to work on removing the brainwash from religious people who falsely and exaggeratedly give too much credit to what I call "primitive wisdom" in their respective religious books, and in the process stay in their narrow cocoons of stupidity and hatred, making the world a miserable place to live in.

My problem is that I see only the statement and discussion of a serious problem. My problem is that I don't see any pragmatic views or solutions presented.
Nice way to support Israeli settlement Dr. Roy! Dr. Roy, if you think settlement is wrong, you have to emphatically say that it is wrong.

I don't know what your problem is. Can you read the first paragraph again and think about it.
The international sentiment, so far, has been in favor of Palestinians, and Israelis were the obstacle to the peace process. Now, the donor nations are having doubts if their Tax payers' money will be used for a worthwhile purpose if Gaza is rebuilt again. They know Hamas will start launching rockets at Israel again from those buildings, and Israel will shell them down again. This is a very pragmatic thinking by the donors, which may be the panacea for the peace, because - no Palestinian violence, no Israeli violence. And, where there is no violence, there is peace.
You talked about Israeli settlements. That could be a good thing for Palestinians if that land falls in their territory after peace is achieved. As you know - Israel vacated settlements in Gaza, which Palestinians got, but used later on to launch rockets at Israel, and they are shelled down by Israel. So, the new settlements this time in the West Bank could be used as a bargain chip in the peace talk, when resumes. Anything is possible under good terms between Israelis and Palestinians.

I can only see the statement of a major problem. I don't see any pragmatic view expressed in the article. What is the solution any way. Perspectives and interests are diverse. Over the last seventy years or so situation has become more and more complicated everyday. Israeli settlement continues. Palestinians are not sure who there true leader is: Compromising and corrupted secularists or the jingoistic Islamists? The west or the middle east?

IGNORANCE CAN BREED TERRORISM

My apology for not being clear about the issues in my brief note above. Surprisingly though, one person with a fake name
"DE ELDER" could understand what I wrote in my posting. It is as if like a blind man showing the rest of the people how to make sense of a puzzle that " the emperor has no clothes" on him. It is a miracle!!!

Now, let me clarify about the issues I raised in my posting: I was talking about two groups having a great deal of similarities. One is the Mirza gang in this forum and the other is the ISIS in the Middle East. Here I will outline their similarities only assuming that they might also have differences:

(1) To me both Mirza gang and the ISIS are politically conscious people and promoting their special agendas.

(2) Both are funded by foreign governments and special interest groups.

(3) We know the ISIS groups were originally brought together and funded by the Saudi, the Amirate and the USA. to fight against Asad government.
In the case of Mirza gang that leads an organized mafia community of Islamphobs is directly funded by Denial Pipe from USA. If I am wrong, please correct me. I call these efforts by these two groups resulting from their ignorance which ultimately breeds terrorism against Muslim people in general.

Generally, what I wanted to say is that there is not much to be learned from these politically conscious group of people promoting prejudices against Muslims. In their non academic political propaganda, often time, they use their own "false Quran" to promote prejudices and in the end terrorism against Muslims.
This is what I call "ignorance can breed terrorism."
To me these politically vested interest groups taking out valuable times should be avoided.

In the past, I had sent them several reminders to take off my name from their list but they seem to be committed to their mission of annoying us. Here I am asking them again to take off my name from their list.
Thanks.

Jihadists are joining ISIS from 80 different countrieshttp://www.haaretz.com/news/middle-east/1.623792
Islamic Terror campaign is in full-swing in Syria and Iraq the Caliphate of Abu Bakr Al-Bagdadi and his jihadi gangs are winning by Islamic Terror campaign Just the way Prophet of Islam won in Medina in 7th century.
Bukhari: 4852:220: "Allah's Apostle (Prophet Muhammad) said, "I have been made victorious with terror"
Quran 3:151: "Soon shall We cast terror into the Hearts of the Unbelievers"
Obama's fake anti-jihadi campaign is losing the battle miserably. Because, muslims around (not the govt. of course) the world in general, are giving big moral supports to these ISIS jihadis and entire Arab world are clandestinely financing the ISIS vigorously. Allah also blessing these jihadis big time.
Undoubtedly Muslims living in the western comfort will condemn actions of ISIS jihadists and will say: all these actions of ISIS are Un-islamic, but NO ONE will condemn the terrorism-inspiring teachings of the Quranic verses 9:111, 9:29, 9:5, 47:4, 5:33, 8:12 and others.
The reality is: the Quran and Islam are massive hate mines. Islam preaches hatred of Christians, Jews and all other kafirs (Jews are apes and pigs, Quran 2:63-65; 5:59-60; 7:166), and urges Muslims to unleash violent Jihad to exterminate them if they refuse to submit to the supremacy of Islam.
I urge all readers to read the Koranic stuffs in the above hyper linkings, and you be the judge please!  Please don't blame me for creating these hateful Koranic verses! Thanks for today.
Sincerely,
SKM

Look, Pal, Modi's message was for the people, like you, who are ashamed to take pride of their own heritages. When I tried to remind that point, some of you started to attack me without understanding my message. Someone even accused me of 'falsification,' which turned out to be meant for 'exaggeration.'
As I said before,
