Re: [mukto-mona] One Pakistan by Nehru, Two Pakistans by Indira

In spite of having the same nutrient, the growth of mentality of any Islamist is shaped by creeds originating in desert or otherwise infertile lands.  That makes a whole lot of difference.  An average theist is an idiot, because he has no freedom to think, hence no analytic ability.  The fool does not know, it does not always take two to Tango.  If a person is Quixotic in nature, he can fight a duel against a wind mill, or even fall in love with Dulcinea, without any response  from the other end, and convince Sancho to receive whipping on the butts..

Let me give you a brotherly advice, QR. (You are actually my brother, even when I think you are an idiot. After all, both of us and our forefathers got their nutrients from the silts of the same Padma, Meghna and Jamuna.) Please get lost from the free-thinkers' forum. (Come back when you begin to think freely.) Following is my reason for giving this advice.
Before you make a general statement like "There are religious extremists among all religious groups", have you heard of anything like the following two, for example, among any other religious group than the Muslims?
1)      A Buddhist young man has a Facebook posting that disrespects the Koran. What happens next? Muslim criminals burn 50 houses and 12 temples belonging to the Buddhist community in one night; and more barbaric atrocities by Muslims on the innocent Buddhists and Hindus follow.
2)      An 11 years old Christian girl is accused of burning a page of the Koran. What happens next? The whole Christian community of that area are driven out of their homes my Muslim criminals.
Please spare us the nonsense of "oh, the criminals were not following Islam properly" until you expel those criminals from your Muslim clan. (If you expel people who do not follow Islam properly, as per your dishonest way of defending your clan, you would not be able to boast that your religion had umpteen million followers.)

Let us do some serious intellectual discussions on this subject.

The creation of Pakistan was a disaster for the non-Muslims (and their descendants) of the land that became that country in 1947. However, it was good for the land that became India in 1947. In fact, on an overall equation, the descendants of the non-Muslims of the pre-1947 India probably have done better by keeping most of the Islamic hate-mongers at the two ends, as opposed to everywhere. Many people give Nehru the credit for that. But I would not call that too foresighted. Without removing the excessive religiosity and hatred among the Muslims, the subcontinent cannot be peaceful in the long run. After all, the borders are porous enough for people like Bachhu Razakar to flee Bangladesh, go through India and then take shelter in Pakistan. Even with their minority status now, the Muslim hate-mongers are already creating a lot of discontent in many places in India today.

The bottom line is that segregation of hateful minds is not a long-term solution, removing hatred is.

The quote is somewhat dramatized but it is not too far away from the ground reality. Minorities will be forced to leave the country as they have already done in Pakistan. The choice would be to submit to the will of Islam or cross the border. With Hepazoti blessing, Bangladesh will try the Pakistani path to take people for another ride for the last time. I bet some of the Awamis would not mind to join the gang if that serves their interests. Is Member Das wrong? I am not so sure.

When Raja Gopalacharya was informed on the 16th of Dec. 1971 of the conquest of Dacca by the allied forces, his reaction was, "Her father Nehru created one Pakistan, she created two"  He was right.  People like Sumon Ahmed prove the validity of comment by Raja Gopalacharya.

Re: [mukto-mona] Fw: [Bangladesh-Zindabad] If Jeddah can restore so many SCULPTURES , then why not us !!

Awesome. This obviously testifies to the high artistic taste of the moneyed Saudis. It is really good to see that they are so passionately preserving and maintaining them. This also testifies to the fact that the princes are not only tolerating these as opposed to common
belief of many of us, they are also sponsoring these to beautify  Jeddah. It is unfortunate that Saudi petrodollars are creating fanaticism in Bangladesh.

Re: [mukto-mona] STOP THEM STOP THEM

It's a very sad story, Dr. Das, what's happening in Bangladesh; religious fanatics have overtaken the reign of power in Bangladesh. Most of these people did not want Bangladesh, but – they are in power now. Who are you going to blame? If you take a poll, most people will go for Sharia. What is the future of this Muslim majority country? The answer is – it will assume the fate of most other Muslim majority countries in the world, without underground oil, which is to become a failed state.

Re: [mukto-mona] ALL ABOUT RANA !!!!

I am not too picky at all. I criticize every party and every person. A typical Hindu woman does not utter the name of the elder brother of her husband.
You have said a superfluous thing about trying a 1971 Jamati collaborator. The 'if found guilty' condition is superfluous. Why do you think that an innocent Jamati would be punished? If you have some inclination to certain group of parties or belief systems say it with loud voice.
I know you like sharia, madrassa system, etc. and want to give a special Muslim status to Ahmediyas. I don't know why you hesitate to enlighten us with your views on Hefajati 13! Is this a kind of complexity on your part? Hasina has given her views on it.
I request you to tell us something about Hefajai 13 and Hasina's reaction to it.

Defending Tarek and remaining silent about him are not the same thing.

My point is very clear. My suspicion is that you are more biased to BNP-Jamat-Hefajat and that is perfectly OK. You don't have to defend yourself. I am more biased to AL-Shahabagis-pro-liberation intellectuals. I am not blind supporter of any party. That's why I can criticize any party or person by name. I don't have the intellectual dishonesty.

So I don't see any problem. Why are you getting angry? I thought you are a cool guy. If we know each other clearly, debate becomes more meaningful. So let us shake off our masks and debate.

Wow! All criminals ranging per-1971 till today. It is not specific at all, it is very general. Let me be more specific from my side. For now I will include only Rajakars and Albadars as in th e present context I want to be more focused. Finish trying them and then go for election. Don't misunderstand me. Trying criminals like Rana has to be a priority. I want government to do this kind of cases simultaneously, no excuse.

It is NATURAL we talk about our country and sometimes our government comes in that discussion. If you people are so shy or touchy about politics, don't talk about it. It seems our pseudo "Mukto-mona" members are not only "closed minded" but cannot tolerate the slightest difference of opinions.

Like "Sita" we have to walk of fire (Or water or acid) to prove our "Purity".

We are discussing SAVAR and the criminal RANA. WHY at the same time we have to talk about Jamat or Tarek? HOW are they relevant?

I always support justice and any criminal who harmed innocent people should get punished (From before 71 or after ....till now). NO objection. I hope you have gotten very specific answer NOW.

If you secretly want to save Rana, just say it.

No. You talked about not only Rana. You talked about Hallmark also.

Have I passed Sita's fire test? Let me know. I am not closed minded at all. You can test me by asking specific questions. Feel free.

Have you EVER seen me defending Tarek or his "Bad" deeds?

It is NATURAL we talk about our country and sometimes our government comes in that discussion. If you people are so shy or touchy about politics, don't talk about it. It seems our pseudo "Mukto-mona" members are not only "closed minded" but cannot tolerate the slightest difference of opinions.

Like "Sita" we have to walk of fire (Or water or acid) to prove our "Purity".

Plenty of times, I said I don't like "BLIND" supporters but writers in this forum seems to get nastier without knowing what the hell they want!!

Shalom!

Actually I am not less curious to see what happens to those who patronized this idiot. We have seen Rana like character during the Sonali Bank (Hall Mark) multi-billion $$ scandal as well. Where a half educated idiot was able to take 2600 croe taka loan from Sonali Bank.

Maybe these half educated sub-humans will get some sort of punishment but what will happen those who created these monsters?

Unfortunately you are too picky (Telling me how to write a party name, while I have done nothing out of ordinary) about what to think, how to write a name, what opinion to form about religion etc.

As I said earlier, I respect your opinion as "Your opinion". But if you want to change "My opinion", you have to work much harder and VERY differently. :-)

So I don't see any problem. Why are you getting angry?

Let me be more specific from my side. For now I will include only Rajakars and Albadars as in th e present context I want to be more focused.

>>>>>>>>> No problem (Although I have answered this many times here!). If any allegations about being "Rajakar" (Such as murder, rape, loot etc) is established in the courts, they should get punished.

Don't misunderstand me. Trying criminals like Rana has to be a priority.

>>>>>>>>> Future of this nation depends on it. As a nation when we prosper ALL people prosper. Free market has this amazing power to take economic blessings in every doorsteps. Bangladesh made a lot of progress in last ten years.

We have collectively lamented about minority population losing their lands to land grabbers. At least ALL of us have to unite to punish this criminal who took some land illegally from a Hindu resident. His punishment will deter future criminals with similar aspiration. But it seems to me that, you are willing to look the other way since this Rana was from your favorite political party. I have seen similar attitude when we discussed Biswajit's murder. We have credible evidences against these criminal, we should try them. Our honorable PM also said, criminals will not be spared and I congratulate her for making it clear to the nation.

Have I passed Sita's fire test? Let me know.

>>>>>>>>> I don't think I asked for any "Sita test" or "Acid test" from anyone. It is you who were making such demands.

May you have a joyous day.
