Re: [ALOCHONA] Re: Prothom -alo Cartoon and few words

Dear Alochok:

I have no doubt in my mind that religions are peaceful in its code of conduct, unfortunately, religion have caused and causing decay to human civilizations. Islam is the most scientific religion in the world; because those mullahs in bangladesh lack knowledge, why they made a big fuzz out of this innocently humorous cartoon. I have seen the cartoon so I did not find anything offensive toward our prophet (swm), and if our prophet was alive, I think he would not have made it a political issue as these mullahs and jamaatis did to serve their political purpose keeping this boy hostage, to gain the public popularity. you know why people in bangladesh buy this kind of allegations, because: the literacy rate in bangladesh are so low, we are inherited muslims, we are muslims by family traditions, we lack the proper islamic knowledge; for why these mullahs get away with turning water into poison, because it is easy to convince the innocent and peaceful people of bangladesh.

It is really sad that the apology before the people of Bangladesh, keeping God as witness; was not enough for those Mullahs, the editor of the daily had to go in person and vow before their knee to ask for forgiveness. Does those Mullahs think they are God? Islam does not permit such arrogance, and it only reflects on our Mullah's radicalism and fundamentalism. It felt like the Mullahs see them as the virtual God of Bangladesh.

To the people of Bangladesh:

From now on, if you commit any sin, please do not stand before Allah in the middle of the night to ask for forgiveness, I insist to go to Dhaka City, at day light, (take few witness with you) to those Mullahs (note: not to any other mullahs of any other city of Bangladesh) to ask for forgiveness or your apology WILL NOT be accepted. It is now clear that if you commit a sin, you go to those Mullahs and holding their hands, your sin will be forgiven! At least that is the lesson I have learned from this recent phenomena. It is a shame for all of us today that in a country like Bangladesh, these Mullahs are keeping a 20 year old boy hostage to serve their own political purpose, and this boy did not even have a lawyer to represent him at the court. It is a shame for all of us and we are responsible for it, because our voice are not loud enough. I am ashamed of our leaders and the editors of all the newspapers and so-called secular minds of Bangladesh..
