This NRB conference 2007 is another ploy of present Army Junta to mislead
expatriate Bangalees and to woo their support for the army's upcoming projects:
"˜Depoliticizing and Disenfranchising Bangalees " and "Installation of
garrison democracy". In our history, Mir Jafar is not a two and half century
old syndrome of treachery. If you walk back history two thousand years, the
invading Aryans were welcome and were helped rule this country for centuries by
the culturally developed and financially well off Bangalees of that time; the
then Doctor X Hossain, Doctor Y Rahman, Kapalik Z Khan, and the like. Therefore,
nothing to be surprised if the present military Junta, like any other of this
sort, will find supporters, collaborators and even boot polishers among a group
of insipid, publicity-hungry, expatriate professionals and intellectuals. Let us
suppose that this unknown entity Chowudhury Shameem is a fiction. But who
composed this fiction? DGFI for sure. Therefore this star-studded conference
should have the more appropriate title NRDB (non resident dalal bangalees) +
DGFI Conference, financially supported by the state coffer.
