[vinnomot] Ref: Dr. Yunus's Commencement Speech at MIT (06 June 2008): Our "Prides and Prejudices".

 13DEC2007

Attention:
Mr. Bipab Pal;

Though I have been stupefied with your untoward and instant over-reaction, this note is not quite a "Quid Pro Quo". Please try not to get caught with eggs on your face. I did not know that you are an original Indian pundit, a truly good and friendly neighbor of Bangladesh. Thank you for being so kind to me and then generously leaving your unfinished tasks to "Bangladeshi People" to take "good care" of me. I waited, then waited and waited for last few days, sadly and virtually no "Bangladeshi People" came forward to do so, as you wished. Now, it looks like, you Dr. Pal, got the job "better done" than "Bangladeshi People" and it was not necessary. I understand exactly the reason behind your colloquial language and also do know why you have been so furious and exasperated on Mohammad Gani.

You see, I still do not know whether "Vinnomot" is an Indian territory or not. Mr. Pal, what did make you poking nose to and maundering about Bangladesh national politics, internal affairs and issues with keen and beyond normal interest and general standard? Shouldn't you poke your nose on your native issues like Bhutan, Sikim, Kashmir, Massacres in Gujrat, on your proud and historical Caste systems and on many millions more?

I understand you earned a PhD and I am not any near to you on academic excellence or brilliance. I hope you are not a professor; then you would have even been worst than those crusaders of RU. Also, I did not knock your doors. Your parents are professors are simply irrelevant here, because all professors are not your parents or not equally saints. We have seen many saints (Priests in Churches) and even judges involved with criminal acts; our axed and ex-cheap (chief) Election Commissioner Aziz is one of them. What do you have in your mind about this Judge? Did Judge Aziz follow Gandhi's path? Please don't say anything against a Judge, it would be a sin.

You always had/have inveterate and indiscriminate hatred for the names like Mohammad and Abdul or so; and no wonder "they" enrolled you as a "life time member" of glorious and patriotic Indian "Shiv Sena". However, you produce yourself smartly; with a cleverly designed "Burqa" of a "fine gentleman". Don't you smell "terrorism" on each and every Mohammad or Abdul (Muslim) throughout the world including in India?  What business do you have on the issues of Bangladesh Mr. Pal? What do you have in your mind on those culprits who flexed muscle against Yunus at "Awami League Monk University" (I mean Dhaka University) and successfully kicked Yunus out from delivering Commencement speech there only few months ago or what business do you have there either?

You and/or those classic Professors at RU and DU are NO Gandhi. It was Indian patriot like you who brutally killed Gandhi and all Gandhi (s); not any Muslim terrorist, any comment? You or your Best (West) Bengal Government has recently kicked out one of my favorite character Taslima Nasrin from your territory! Just blame Muslim terrorist (of West Bengal) and get yourself off the hook. Good idea?

You were so saturated with angers on Mohammad Gani that you spent no moment to put on your reading glasses. I never indirectly mention of any monkey there; instead, I directly and clearly mentioned "Monks" those recently followed Gandhi's path in Burma and were rounded up by military junta there. These RU teachers acted as "wild monks" unlike Burmese Monks. Professors are like judges and they never incite so-call "peaceful violence", break emergency regulations and law of the land those fomented massive vandalisms, destroyed public and private properties and threatened safety and security of innocent, men, women and children. Fortunately, their numbers are only 4 or so; and most Professors are professionally Professors, not militant politicians at all. How many Professors from West Bengal led "peaceful remonstrations" against deportation (almost) of world Champion and defender of women's freedom, Taslima? You should be at the front of their line (if any); you are in love of Taslima's philosophy?

I love my teachers as you do, from my heart those taught me Bengali alphabets, counting, addition, subtraction and so on…..and they shall remain as my heroes, stars and saint for ever; so shall be all other teachers/ Professors those always set precepts and give out candles to their students toward prospective future journeys. These Professors love their students, care for them and provide them with sagacious teachings way beyond academic brackets. But here we are talking about few militant Professors those incite their students to break the laws for fulfilling their clandestine political mission.

Please manage your own home and do not trespass others. We do NOT need lectures from a patriotic Indian on Bangladesh issue. An Indian is an Indian. Just back off please.

If "vinnomot" is an Indian territory, please let me know, I shall surely avoid stepping into its threshold in future

Mohammad Gani
