Bangladesh Day Program includes Seminar, Parade, Dignitaries Speeches, Cultural programs and Mela.

 

Theme:  To raise up our beloved motherland Bangladesh in front of the mainstream society of America.

 

Some major streets of Los Angeles will be shut down for this Bangladesh Day Parade including the Vermont Ave and the 6th Street near Shatto Recreation center. Please join the Parade and show the enormous strengths of Unity.

The Bangladesh day Program is 2-days long and it includes the following:

 

 

1.  Parade:

Parade on Vermont Ave near Shatto, a major Street of Los Angeles, California, USA

 

2.  Dignitaries (being invited):

Nobel Laureate Dr. Yunus, Nobel Laureate Al-Gore, Mohammad Ali (Boxer SuperStar), Magic Johnson, Miss America (Jr.) Nora Ali, Governor of California, Lt. Governor of California, California State Controller, Mayor of Los Angeles, General Moin Ahmed,  Javed karim (YouTube Co-inventor), Nafees Bin Zafar, (Oscar Award winner), Dr. Abul Hussam (NSF Award winner on Arsenic filtration), Dr. Kali Pradip Chowdhury, Bangladesh Ambassador from Washington DC, Bangladesh Consul Generals in LA and New York, and other dignitaries.

 

3. Seminar:

Seminar on "Save our Sundarban, Save the World" and other special topics of National significance for Bangladesh.

 

4. Cultural Program:

Songs, dances, comics, fashion shows and other recreations and entertainments with the artists from Los Angeles, other cities of California, Other states of USA, and Bangladesh.

 

5. Mela:

Booths, Stalls with delicious food, Sarees and other specialty clothings, antiques and other attractions.

 

This Bangladesh Day Parade is open for all Bangladeshi people including all the organizations and all the community members of the Greater Los Angeles area in CA, USA. This is an open invitation to all of you to please come forward and join the Parade and show the enormous strength of Unity.

 

This invitation is also extended to the Bangladesh communities of Sacramento, San Francisco Bay Area, San Diego, Las Vegas, and other cities, to please join this parade with a representative group of your communities.
