Two shot dead by BSF
PANCHAGARH, Feb 13: Two Bangladeshi nationals were gunned down by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) opposite to Banglabandh frontier in Tentulia upazila Tuesday midnight, reports UNB.
The deceased were identified as former Banglabandh union parisad member Joynul, 44, and Jahangir, 32, of Futkipara village in the upazila. BDR said BSF troops of Narayanjot BOP opened fired on a group of 7/8 Bangladeshis when they entered into the Indian territory just opposite to Banglabandha frontier at about 15 minutes past midnight, killing Joynul and Jahangir on the spot.
Later, BSF took away the bodies to their camp. When contacted acting commander of BDR-25 battalion Major Sheikh Farid confirmed the incident.
