[mukto-mona] PEACE MARCH on 1st September at 10.30 AM from Master Canteen

THE COMMON PEOPLE OF ORISSA RAISED THEIR VOICE AGAINST COMMUNAL VIOLENCE

 

Dear Friends,

 

In protest of Communal Violence and bring back peace and harmony, there will be a state level 'Peace March' in the capital city Bhubaneswar, Orissa on 1^st September 2008. Thousands of People from various walks of life – farmers, workers, activists, poets, artists, littérateurs, media persons, scientists, policy makers, political activists, actors, musicians, advocates, doctors, teachers, students, representatives of various organizations – People's Movements, Social Movements, Political Parties, People's Organizations, Community based organizations, NGOs are going to participate in the 'March'.

 

The 'March' will start from Master Canteen Chhak at 10.30 AM and close at PMG in front of Orissa Legislative Assembly. It will cover Raj Mahal Chhak and AG Square on the way. Participants are being requested to be present near Jayaprakash Narayan Statue, Master Canteen at 10.15 AM.

 

In this context, this is an appeal to you and your friends to participate in the March and make your valuable contributions towards peace building process.
