Re: [ALOCHONA] Mina Farah burnt his muslim rojader son insted of burried , a humble question to "sushil'n HR groups

For those who are so perturbed by the "human rights violation" by Mina Farah, and believe that the last rite of a human being relies on the "shoulder of the community"....here is a quick fact for you, after her son passed away, both Dr. Farah and her husband, did get a chance to go through the Muslim rituals and the Hindu rituals. It was their mutual decision to follow both, and cremate their son. Now, rest your "community responsibility" and stop making "cremation" sound like a human rights violation, because it is not.

I am done with this topic. The self-righteous, religious zealots need to rest and mind their own business. Next?

"....we demand exemplary punishment of Mina."  -- How people can be so rude? She lost her son. She must be grieving so much, she is a human being regardless of her religious orientation, she must be devastated loosing her child. For any human being, loosing a child is the most extreme loss of life and s/he becomes extremely measurable mentally, physically, and psychologically. The people who are shouting with hatred to punish her more, such as the one in quotation above, can no way be equated with human being! We have all sympathy for her to cope up with this extreme loss and measurable condition. I have no idea what type of good human those complainers are, but one thing I know, they are extreme hate mongers. Let's not listen to those disturbing elements. What she did is after all an extreme personal matter. Everybody has the right to decide on what s/he will follow in the life. No one has the right to impose anything on the other individuals, on no religious, no political, and no personal matters. I do not think she broke any laws of the country. So, why she should be punished? For what? Under what jurisdiction these people are calling for punishment? Did she buy into the tenats of those people who are offending her? It does not appear so. Then what is their right to disturb her in her such a measurable situation? I do not know when these unfortunate happenings will stop! Only God knows.

I followed the sad news and agree with Mr. Raheem to treat this as a family matter (which it is). The family must be going through a very difficult period of time in their life, we as fellow Bangladeshi should try to help them in their time of need instead of making it any more difficult.

Dear Mr. Aminul Islam,

I am aware of this tragic incidence in New York. It is further saddening that as a parent, she might have made a decision that seems contrary to her sons' wishes. But this is a family matter and as a mother/father, they have a greater right to decide these things. It is unfortunate but it is the way it is. I am sure this must have been a complicated and difficult decision for Mina Fara and her husband. We may not even know the entire story.

Protesting will not bring the departed back and nor can it reverse the funeral arrangements.
Rather, let us give the parents an opportunity to grieve and not politicize this tragic matter.
