Re: [mukto-mona] Manufacturing 'Terrorists' The Indian Way

WRT: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/mukto-mona/message/49880

This type of article cannot be helpful. This is just shifting the blame from one side to the other. If I throw a stone into a bee-hive, the bees will come after me. Now, who do I blame for my stings? Should I blame bees or myself?

There are always two sides of a story. The people in the media and the so called journalists should show both sides in analyzing the truth. Today's media and journalists are biased, and cannot be trusted. That is one of the reasons why we have not been able to get rid of terrorism in the world. Hindutvabadis, probably, can be blamed for some of these activities, but we need to know if they are the bees, just responding to the incitement, or not. If they are instigators, they should be held accountable. The problem that I have is, I cannot simply blame Hindutvabadis for terrorism elsewhere in the world. Can you?

It does not matter which religion do these terrorists belong to, they are terrorists, and should not be harbored or protected. The responsible people should be truthful to their conviction for the truth, and news should be presented in an unbiased manner. Biased reporting, like this, is not helpful. It will only linger the problem of terrorism by inciting one side or the other.
