Most of religious literature are full of such inconsistencies. Even
scientific literature is not free from it. Sir Isaac Newton, for example,
believed in the Bible word by word and belonged to the Arian heresy. He was
not smart enough to find it's inconsistencies. It seems that he wanted to
see seven color in the spectrum as derived from the seven heavens. How else
would he distinguish Indigo from Blue?
However, the Sura I like most is entitled Perish. It says, "In the Name of
Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate/ Perish the hands of Abu Lahab, and
perish he!// His wealth avails him not, neither what he has earned;/ He
shall roast at a flaming fire// And his wife, the carrier of the fire wood/
Upon her neck a rope of palm-fibre.//" Divine literature indeed, about a
person who was the father in law of two daughters of the Prophet, and his
own uncle. If this literature existed in heaven, long before it was
revealed, couldn't Gibreel farista prevent the Prophet from marrying off two
of his daughters to the sons of such apostates? If this is the nature of a
compassionate Allah, how could his children accomodate anywhere?
