Media's portrayal of Obama as the "first black president" may not be
scientific, but I won't call them racist either. American media
greatly favored Obama in this election. And to many African-Americans,
the phrase, "the first black president" is a glorious recognition of
their past history. They are, rather, proud of this recognition.
