Dear Readers:
It is not a question of religion. It is purely political. Whenever a problem occurs surrounding political issues involving a Muslim nation or any adverse situation with a group which has Muslim members, the term 'Islamic Terrorism' is loosely used. India has been facing terrorist atrocities from all corners including Kashmir, Asam and the South. From Muslim extremism, Maoism, Hindu fanaticism and other hooliganism - India is now faced with the challenge of upholding the largest democracy in the world and yet not to use brute force to suppress political opponents. A fierce suppressive response from the Government may further jeopardise India's democracy. Serious diplomacy is required with the cooperation from neighbours. It has to search into its own backyard first and not beyond to examine its own domestic policies to unify its own people.

Students Must Learn To Coexist With Others
We have recently noticed that students get involved in fighting with shop keepers, local people or neighboring villages of the educational institutions. We have seen ythis several times between Dhaka college students and nearby shop owners .We have seen this in Rajshahi university students and villagers around and in many other places. Student intolerance is increasing. They fight among themselves on flimsy ground and now this new development. We ask the parties who control these student organizations to do something about them. They think them above law and also above other sections of society. This is bad and they must know how to co-exist with others.
