I believe there was always a demand for trial of war criminals. In 1972-75 most of the sector commanders were in Government service, so legally they could not say much in public. There was a demand and movement in 1980-81. I think Col Zaman was one of the initiators. There was one in 1986-88. Col Zaman was probably the key person for that part. There was another in 1991-92 led by Jahanara Imam. Col Zaman again was a key person. I believe General Haroon demanded the trial when he wsa army chief, and he was criticised by some people. Col Abu Osman Chy, C R Dutt they all were involve in most of the movements. Just being the army officers I do not think they could do much. It ss the politicians and general people who need to be blamed for it. Dear All,   As BSF killed 3 innocent Bangladeshi citizens in Tetulia border, which we have not seen any Sympathy from AK Khondoker & his fellow Sector Commanders, who are barking for WC trial. AK Khondoker gong just fought 1971 liberation to serve Inida & not in favor of Bangladesh & its people. In most recent years killing of innocent of Bangladeshi citizens at the border area increased. These Commanders of CLOWNS only can remember 1971 but not incidents infront of them. These bloody Iindian dalals must be prevented byt the patriot people of Bangladesh.   Thank You All, Md.
