Re: [ALOCHONA] Re: Will you be able to tolerate him as President of Bangladesh again?

Dear Brother Mosa Sharkar,

Many thanks for your nice explanation. But you should remind that emotion is not way to justice all things. You present here a well known drama (which is the base of AL politician) which is showed again and again to hide real war criminal and for politics .Can u answer honestly ,why court free Gloam Azam when Ghadani  committee put a case against him regarding war criminal issue. Can u answer why Awami Legue didn't put any case or objection during their supreme power ? and why they start demanding again ? is it not a bad  politics ?

Regards

Showkat

Mr. Mufassil Islam,
Please don't be hypocritical yourself.  It's very sad that we don't check our face in the mirror first before criticizing others.  You should make worse criticisms about BNP's alliance with the war criminals of 1971.  Didn't we all fight against these Al Badrs and Rajakars?  How many Noor Hossains did they kill?  How many girls and women did they supply to Pak Army?  How many intellectuals were murdered by them? What did you think when Al Badr chiefs Nijami and Mujahid became powerful ministers (more war criminals will become ministers if their alliance is elected again)?  Don't you think your lecture about ideals and principles apply to your Jamaat-BNP alliance first?  I didn't find any of your postings where you whined about this.  Remember it is BNP who first formed the unholy alliance seven years ago.  If you can answer these questions honestly, you will surely find some comfort in your heart.
This is a very simple math.  With the few percent Jamaati support, BNP was able to win many seats in closely contested areas in the past election.  Just check the 2001 election results.  I am pretty sure if BNP gets rid of the war criminals, AL will not need JP any more.  And they dislike Ershad as much as you do.  Also no party wants to share power with others.   How can AL form unity government when BNP-Jamaat and the extremist religious parties will never join?
Lastly, if you are sad about both alliances Ц BNP-Jamaat and AL-JP, I am with you 100%.  If you want to work to break both alliances, I am with you again.  But please be fair on both sides.
Thanks,
Mohammad Musa Sarkar

If they instal Ershad- that will be a kick to our democratic norms and all the values Awami League is always known to have upheld - No religious fanaticism and no support for military rules in any form or definition. This has been a major area against BNP by Awami League.

Please do not forget even there are well respected Awami League leaders who were also victims of Ershad's iron-rule during his despotic rule.

Cue the sweet singing of birds, romantic violins and the sound of children playing happily...Democracy in Bangladesh is possibly giving rise to Ershad as President.Banglades hi politics!
