Religion itself some time good if it is in the hand of good people and some time dangerous than nuclear bomb if misinterpreted and misunderstood by wrong people.We know there are merits and demerits of every thing. This includes Conversion too.Excessive human right has also demerits and the demerit of excessive human right is conversion. Conversion some time generates separatist mentality and the hating libido to other religion. The greed to covert one person from one faith to other faith is an expression of aggression. Sinners are they who inspired people to convert.All religions allow conversion to increase their man power which is a big power and a power to rule over others.Is religion is a like a "cloth" or like a "dess" or a "toy" which can be changed and can be motivated to change ? Is it so brittle that any one can break it any time as per wish ?The religions where conversion is allowed and inspired give rise to violence. It is a fact that in Mughal era most the conversion was forceful. Example, many Sikhs Gurus were beheaded by Mughals when they were not willing to accept Quran. Too much democracy also makes the people unruly specially in our Asian countries. Democracy some time shall be limited by law.Conversion shall be banned by law too all over the world.But it will never happen because majority of the religions allow it and thus creates an imbalance in the quantity of different faith holders.So some where minorities are suffering and the same minorities are majorities. Very funny ! Muslim and Christianity were originated in Arab.Any climate and natural environment has a vast effect on its people and on its thought. Through the process of aggression and conversion Muslimism came to the subcontinent like a violent current.If Christianity would come first to this subcontinent then Christian would be more than Moslems in our subcontinent. The subcontinent was divided on the basis of religions and on the basis of the greed of political power of our some leaders.Different religions started fighting and killing each other from the verge and starting of partision.Where is the root cause lies of the fighting and killing each other? Is it the religions? Is is the hard line doctrines of the scriptures ? Is it the libido to rule over other? Some religions inspire to kill others who do not follow. Is is true that killing of other faiths lead the killer to heaven? Rather to tell is there any heaven any body sees after death? In India is the social welfare is only for Hindus? Are you hinting that there are no social welfare for the Muslims (or other non-Hindus )? Go to West Bengal and see whether the Muslims are happy there or unhappy? Ask them how many Mosques and Madrasas were built in past 30 years. You will hear "many", "many". Ask also about employment. You will get a positive reply.This is true in all the states of India if you find the fact and if you write impartially. Regarding Hindu Marriage Act of 1955 your mind set is not justified.Every one knows Budhaism, Jainism and Sikhism all were originated from Sanatan Dharma. It is called Sanatan Dharma because there was no man or woman who claimed to be the founder of this religion as if it comes from the origin of human beings. All the religions founded in the subcontinent are more or less same in concept and practice and Muslimism is totally different than all these religions originated in this subcontinent.Actually it is a big mistake by the chief author and editor of Indian constitution to make different marriage rules for Muslim and Hindus in India. You have told about Kerala's princely state of Travancore. Please mind that regarding all the princely states of India, the Government of India diplomatically modified some rules other wise they might not cooperate with Indian administration and will not at all obey to India.This is the diplomacy and we all citizens of India should respect it for our sovereignty. You have told hundreds of mosques are illegal possessions nation wide including Delhi. If you make such an statement in public place in India it will help to loose the communal harmony between the two communities and which will give immense pleasure to Indian arch rival. Now please reply my small question.Will you agree if some one use your land property without your knowledge and build house or club? The answer from you certainly will be "No" if I am not wrong.Then how the Government will allow the building of house with tin or asbestos in corporation or municipal land which is used as mosque by the immigrant laborours from other states? Shall the Government allow such constructions? Go to Sarita Bihar of South Delhi and see how the immigrant construction workers from other states built a mosque with wood and tin in DDA land (Delhi Development Authority) beside Mathura Road. Do you think the mosques which were being made illegally in Government land is a right approach? I agree breaking of Babari Mosque is a shame to all secular people all over the world. If any Babar (Babor) of Mughal era demolished a temple and reconstructed it to a mosque let it be as it was. History will bear the aggression and violence of Babor. But Babor is saved because now history will bear the violence of Bharatiya Janata Party and a stigma to the secular people of India. You had mentioned the Golden Temple in Punjab. Don't you know it was the safe den of the separatists of Punjab.What was the problem with the separatists of Punjab?Don't you know it was a safe place for rapping of women by the separatists? Golden temple shall not be attacked by military because it is a temple.Very funny reason indeed ! The problem of India is within India.The arch rival is the secondary problem. India should not support any anti-India mentality on its soil and India must work on it to over come this problem.Protection of mother land is the first priority to all Indian. Religion should be the least priority. Regarding Employment Discrimination- the Scheduled Castes and Tribes (Dalits) are down trodden and most oppressed class of India from the ancient time. Dalits were not allowed to read and learn in Pathshalas(schools) and were not allowed to participate any social gatherings.They were the working class and will ploughing fields and growing paddies and corns but were given lower shares by the upper strata Hindus.They cleaned the society by scavenging but they were considered dirty. This is until now more or less.They are until now very undeveloped and educationally very back ward as a whole.But exception is there.The chief writer and the editor of Indian constitution was from this class who was allowed to sit at the back side far from the upper class pupils.There are job reservation for the Dalits in India. But any one who converted to Christian or Moslem will be given the same status of Scheduled castes and tribes ? In Quran there is no castes mentioned.Neither is mentioned in Bible. You mentioned wrongly that there are reservation for Sikhs.Is there any news papers of India which publishes any Job Vacancy indicating reservation for Sikhs? I have never seen and no one will ever see. Some time we mix the word "secular" or "secularism" with many things and create confusion. Discrimination in Army- In 1947 the Indian political situation was boiling.The country was divided into two parts on the 'black' two nation theory which was a big kick to the back bone of the subcontinenet.Hindus including Sikhs and Muslim were migrating to each other's land but not all. At the time of partition the Muslim Hyderabadis had relatives in newly formed Pakistan (until now) and the majority of Hyderabadi as a princely state were not liking to join India rather liking Pakistan.Hyderabad's army might not be taken in 1947. That time Indian Constitution was not authored but after that people from all states joined Indian Army. In 1971 when all east Bengali women and west Bengali women were praying for the Mukti Joddha (Freedom Fighters) and in the same time the Imam of Hyderabad's Jama Mosque near Charminar requested the assembled to pray for Pakistan. Once when I was living in Jeddah one of my senior colleagues from Hyderabad told me this. There are Rajputana Regiments (Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Parshi), Gorkha Regiments in Indian Army. But no Bengal Regiment. I did not feel jealous or disheartened for this.There are Sikhs Regiment but no Muslim Regiment or Hindu Regiment.Is it a discrimination? Regarding Cultural Discrimination- Your write up is very partial. Remember cow meet is not so cheap now-a-days. It is going to touch the price of goat meet very soon.Cow is sacred or not to Hindus that is a matter of controversy but what I understand cow gives us milk when we are kids and when we are old and feeble.Mother gives us milk too.Cow ploughs our land and also gives us dunk for fuel and fertilizer. And when such a 'Abola Prani' becomes old we cut and eat it . For your information there are many Moslems who do not eat beef . Cow slauter is banned in Gujarat and might be in some other states but all the big cities in India I have seen beef is being sold in open market like fish and vegitables. Lighting lams to inaugurate a function is an ancient Asian and South East Asian Culture .Religion changes but culture does not changes always. You told like Jamat e Islami that lighting lamp to inaugurate a function is Hindu culture.In middle east this is not a practice I know. But this subcontinent is not Middle East.In a natural process when two religions live side by side for centuries then mixing of practices is must. No one can prevent it and no one should make an issue out of which will help to destroy the peaceful living of Hindu Muslim side by side in India. I agree with you that recitation of Saraswati Bandana in Parliament shall be stopped immediately.This is unsecular because Saraswati as per Sanatan Faith is Hindu Goddesses of wisdom. But how Bisnu statue at the entrance to IGP H.Q. of Banglaore is destroying the secular image of India? Removal of the statues is just like Taleban like thinking as they destroy all Buddha statues on hill side.Indonesia is a Muslim country but there are many statues relating to their old culture scattered all over the country. Does those idols or statues hampering their religion ? In Muslim religion idols and or statues are prohibited. This prohibition came from the fear of that the desert people may again stick to worship stone statues and gradually they may forget Allah. The present day Moslem are more logical and more intelligent than that of those days when this command had been given but the same practice removal of statues and idols is going on in many countries. Vande(Bande) Mataram is Hindu Lyrics ? Because it is of Sanskrit language ? Or as per Muslimism- no bow head to any one except Allah. The actual meaning of Bande Mataram is the Bandana of Desh Mata , Sujala Sufala Sosyo Syamala Deshmata which was written in Ananda Math. How does it destroy the secular mentality of Indian? Mother land and her protection should be given first priority and then second priority to religion. This is patriotism and which should be the biggest Dharma (Dharmo). No so called Dharmas shall be bigger than this Dharmo.A country of patriotic people is less corrupted and more strong. Surya (Surjo) Namaskar is not related at all to Hindu Dharma.But it is related to Yogasan(Jogason) or in simple word Byam (exercise of mind and body). This was invented in the subcontinent. One of the Yogasana is this Surjo Namaskar. In Indian school there ia a course of Yoga. It is a very simple asana and almost easy Asana for young boys and girls.Every one knows the benefit of Yogasana.Only the fundamentalist will not accept the benefit of the Byam. You told that the text books of history and social studies replete with gross distortion of Indian history.........etc. This is nothing but an exaggeration by you. And from your this sentence you can fully understand the negative affect of conversion. Regarding Religious Programmes- Indira Gandhi was murdered by her security guard (a Sikh ) connected with the separatist movement at that time in Punjab.Why she was murdered by a Sikh - on this basis the nuisance makers were targeting Sikhs to kill in a riot.
