Mr Abul. You did not hurt anyone. You just made yourself a fool in this forum with some ill conceived, half-truths and melecious perceptions. Here's  a point by point response to your mail:

You wrote:

"I know from my personal contacts that many Army officers did sky high corruption during that time. Please keep in mind that Army is such a force who does huge corruption, BUT nobody can catch them at any time. On the other hand they are gifted with MP nomination and eventually become minister as soon as they retire."

My Response:

You seem like playing the tune of the killers who tried the same line of thought.  Will you support a similar action against all other people in Bangladesh who by you standard "did sky high corruption"? Can you please ask your "personal contacts" about the action against corruption (if any) in the military?  Have you thought a second before labeling Army as a force "who does huge corruption"? How did you reach such conclusion? Did you do any research on the military or was it limited to your knowledge of your own family and friends that you terms as "personal contact"?  Can you tell me the sample size of your research? What was the significance level of your findings? Do you even know how many personnel are there in the Army?  Regarding the MP part, do you even know the procedure as outlined by the Election Commission? Can you name one MP in the present parliament who became MP "as soon as they retied"?  I will be eagerly waiting for an answer of all these in your next post.

Mr Abul, this is a forum that is no ordinary one. Here  every pseudo truths, lies, fabrications are dissected and thrown back to the person.  Incase you did not notice, it is a forum of rationalist, not fabrication-ists like you.

You also wrote:

"Anybody who has little bit of sense will understand that the BDR event was planned by experts who has clear knowledge about war planning.  And in BD only two forces can do that -- one is Jamaat and the other is Army."

My Rsponse:
I am not sure about you, but I have little bit of knowledge of military operations, war and war studies owing to my short 25+ years of engagement with the military both at home and abroad. I also have some knowledge on the terrorist outfits operating in this subcontinent and the strategic environment in which we live in. I can name quite a few such agencies/ nations / outfits  that have such capabilities. But my question is why is your list limited to Army and Jamaat? Can you elaborate please? What special knowledge do you have? Why have you discarded other outside agencies/organizations?

You Wrote:
"Was the helicopter crash just an accident?  A Major General died and why is Army so quite?  The helicopter was bought only three years back, isn't it unlikely to have an accident now??"

My Response:
As a concerned citizen, It is ok to raise such benign question as to whether the helicopter crash was an accident or not. But the remarks that you make after that indicates that the question was not that benign. Who said you that Army was so quite? Gen Rafiq was taken to his home district, brought back to Army stadium, had a state funeral where the President attended, buried with full military honour. What did you mean by " so quite"? Please specify and enlighten us. Your comment on the helicopter being bought only three years back and "unlikely" to have an accident again revels your understanding and knowledge on aircraft accident and aviation related matters. Being in the aviation related profession I would urge you to study the reasons, know the fact and thereafter comment on it. Who told you that if an aircraft is only 3 yrs old in service cannot have an accident. However, in this case it was (as the preliminary findings suggest) not a problem with the aircraft but with bad weather and very poor visibility.

You Wrote:
"…But the way the officers were talking to Sk Hasina, that was extremely emotional, immature and childlike. I can expect this from people like us, but NOT from Army officers. Why they were finger pointing and doing emotional blackmailing?  Is this just sympathy or something else???

My Response:
Again, you probably had the privy of hearing 'some part' of the audio that was available in the net (though not authentic) and have formed an opinion. As I said before, releasing of the selective part of the tapes of such confidential meeting is regrettably and has made people like you to form a twisted opinion.  But I failed to realize your point about "finger pointing"?  Did you have any better knowledge than the victims who talked in that forum? Are you suggesting that what the victim said to their defence minister and the head of government were "finger pointing"?

You Wrote:
"Why the officers put their hands on DAD Tauhid's mouth when he was trying to say something to the media ??? "

My Response:
I think he has said enough to the media. All he now needs to say is to the interrogation officers and the judge in the court. (Unless you are his spokesman)

You Wrote:
"So, we can never rull out Army's involvement in the whole event.  As we have seen before, the main criminals will never be identified and some poor BDR folks (may be some DADs, jawans will be hanged)."

My Response:
No one's suggesting to rule out anyone but I would like to here from you how you have ruled out other outside agencies like RAW, ISI, LeT, LTTE, UPDF, ULFA, AL, BNP, Shorbohara, JMB etc. Then only you will sound rationale and stand a chance to be heard. Why do you think that "some  DAD and Jawans"  are "poor" and not killers?

In sum, Mr Abul, I found your post highly fabricated, ill conceived, and malicious in mature. It did not hurt me but has definitely proved how wrong someone can be when he or she talks on something with insufficient knowledge.  I am eagerly waiting for your response.
