I would like to invite you all to visit the platform (an online discussion platform for Bangladesh Development sector in Bangla).

The first discussion is about Monga (Monga is a seasonal food insecurity in ecologically vulnerable and economically
weak parts of north-western Bangladesh, primarily caused by an employment and
income deficit before aman paddy is harvested. It mainly affects those rural poor, who
have an undiversified income that is directly or indirectly based on agriculture.)

More than 100 people have talked about the above issue (Politician, Economist, Agriculturist, Development worker, Govt officials, Journalist and general Monga affected people)

Anyone can register and comment on the topic. A booklet will be published after the discussion. The present discussion will close after 10 April 2009.
