NABC (North American Bengali Conference), 2009 was organized on 2-4th July at San Jose, California. It was three days of fun and frolic attended by more than five thousand Bengalis (including about one thousand Bangladeshis). Though there was no option of serious and critical events (no politics please) CAAMB sympathizers had distributed a few copies of CAAMB production ' Taslimar Jonya Uchcharan - Lajjar Ek Bachar'. Also, one of the sympathizers staged a silent but strong protest during the 'Kobi Sammelan' chaired by Sunil Gangopadhyay by displaying a small poster with a photo of Taslima Nasrin (see attachment).
