What is strange about this tragedy is our entire military machine and strategists remain inactive as did the military machine and strategists of Mir Zafar at Palashi. The chief of army thought that 'matal, lampot and bad governance' - as the myth was carefully planted by the vested interest group, Sirajuddawla has no ground in the public mind, I will be the new ruler of Bengol and ofcourse the almighty East India company will back me ....... Today the whole frontier remain open no border guard can be seen. Every three border guard has an armed police man as escort. A record number of military personnel were killed in peace time in human history, than dozens of high ranking officers were dismissed, removed, or forced retired from the military sevices after the carnage, now what is left for us? the chatukars and galpabaz and few of those who survived - who went in day light and in night time to that bearded man's (controlling the military) house to beg for their jobs even holding his leg - remains of our military bravity).
