[ALOCHONA] Maj Gen Ehtesham transferred

Maj Gen Ehtesham transferred   Major General Ehteshamul Huq, the military secretary to the president, has been transferred to the army's Rangpur-based division as its general officer commanding, a government official said Sunday night.     The general was linked Sunday by Prothom Alo to militants charged with attacking Sheikh Hasina on September 26, 2001 during the election campaign ( http://www.prothom-alo.com/detail/date/2009-10-11/news/11580)   The official said the transfer had nothing to do with the report.The official said Huq had been transferred from the president's office and the defence minister had signed the order moving the two-star general to the 66 Division.
