INTRODUCTION
The Mechanical Engineering Division of the Institution of Engineers,
Bangladesh is organizing the 6th International Conference and the 13th
Annual Paper Meet on 30-31 December 2009 to provide a unique opportunity for
both industrial and scientific communities to meet, discuss and share
knowledge and experience in different fields of mechanical engineering. The
conference will cover all aspects of Mechanical and allied branches of
engineering with a special focus on the advancement of technology for
sustainable development. The official language of the Conference is English.
PROCEEDINGS
The proceedings of the conference will be published in two forms: printed
(only abstract) and CD ROM (full paper). Both forms of the proceedings will
be made available to the delegates at the conference venue. Some selected
papers may be published in the Journal of Mechanical Engineering

SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACT
Extended abstract of not more than 500 words should be submitted by email to
Dr. M. Mahbubur Razzaque, Chairman, Technical Committee at:
mmrazzaque@me.buet.ac.bd
The abstract should clearly state the purpose, results and conclusions of
the work to be described in the full paper and should contain the title of
the paper, name(s) of author(s), affiliation and full address with telephone
and fax numbers and email address.
The paper written in English and not submitted elsewhere should be submitted
in PDF format. After provisional acceptance of the abstract, the full paper
will be received and reviewed before its final acceptance. The guidelines
for preparing the paper will be provided with the provisional acceptance
letter.
