I am writing to draw your kind attention to a young devoted college teacher, Qamrul Hassan, a childhood friend of mine, who is suffering from severe disease Hepatitis "C". Doctors have opined that, although this is a fatal disease that claims life of many but with appropriate treatment this can be cured and Qamrul's life can be saved in the service of his family and for the education of the thousands of female students he devotedly teaches at a rural women's college (Chowgachha Women's College) in Jessore, Bangladesh. The treatment involves huge expenses including at least 45 expensive injections which is not affordable by the poor college lecturer. Any help that you may extend would contribute to the life of this pious young energetic person whose life is dedicated to the advancement of education of women in a country like Bangladesh.
May Allah reward us the best in the month of the holy Hajj. May Allah (SWT) keep us healthy and free from any disease as a reward for our heart-felt dua and contribution to the life of this young educationist.
I'm traveling to Bangladesh on November 24, 2009 Tuesday. Any contribution received beforehand can be immediately transferred to the suffering patient.
