[ALOCHONA] Re: Irene Khan says: Bangladesh main problem corruption

Irene Khan is right - the number one problem is corruption. It is corruption that cheats our nationa and our poor of wealth and justice. It is corruption that has poisoned the nation's values and destroyed the ethics of its politics.

The reason Deshi politicians NEVER take on corruption is that corruption oils the wheels of the political machine of AL and BNP.

Since our nation's birth do you know how many AL men were convicted of corruption under an AL government? Or how many BNP men were convicted of corruption under a BNP government?

Even now any gains in ethical conduct in either party are driven mainly by the boot of the Caretaker Government and not by any substantial developments in ethical standards within these two parties.
