Good to see your rebuttal in the NFB. The Independent should have the courtesy to publish it too. I was delighted to see an article of yours after quite some time. At this critical juncture of our time as a nation, we need to launch a nation-wide strong and powerful campaign to oppose Indian hegemonism over Bangladesh, some of which we already have been doing.

The country is getting divided into two main camps: One camp consists of the lackeys of India, who are in power and are supported by Indian money and muscle and who are ruthlessly engaged in terror, plunder, grabbing, corruption of all sorts and oppression of all sorts; and the other camp is that of the present weak, unorganised patriots, who are supporters of our independence and sovereignty and of national development. The patriotic camp consists of the vast majority.

We need to organise the patriots of all shades of political opinion, as long as they are patriots. I hope your article will send a good signal to many of them and will make them aware of what is commonly termed in Bangladesh as 'information terrorism' or the capaign of lies, just like the lies of WMD in Iraq war. A great number of the media in Bangladesh serve India in their self interest and they sell the interest of Bangladesh. We need to bring the patriots to a common movement, and if possible, to a common platform irrespective of political parties.
