PERTH: Honourable PM of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina completed her 3-day visit to Perth, Western Australia where she attended Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting along with 53 other countries. This was the first opportunity for those four thousand Perthbashi (Bangladeshis living in Perth) to see and greet their premier.
BAAWA (Bangladesh Australia Association of Western Australia), a non political, non ethnic, multicultural organization, which represents most of the migrant Bangladeshis in Perth decided to give a reception to PM and formed a reception committee to finalize that.
Through The High Commission of Bangladesh, Canberra, the committee approached the program and send details of the reception program, which was approved by the foreign ministry of Bangladesh.
