[ALOCHONA] Re: CORRUPTION DECREASED IN BANGLADESH !!!!!!

If you asked Manik for help with some injustice he would not turn you away. He would not take you promptly to a lawyer or to a policeman. He would contact his 'political connection' because that is how his Sonar Bangladesh operates. The political connection will ask for money to solve the problem. Manik will not hesitate to tell the victim "Bhai, ey bhabe kaaj hoi". At the victim's request Manik asks the political contact for a discount. The standard answer will pass back from politician to activist to victim: "rate fixed, higher ups bholche, dhorkar hoile taka dhen nahole chole jan".

Democracy in action. There maybe some interesting context and unfortunate fate in all this. So what?

We are still Bloody Bongus....
