I agree. Greed is inherently wrong and corrupting. I would not appreciate greed, no matter how it is packaged.

Yes, legislators should define the perimeters of the playing field, and government should be the referee to make sure that the game is being played as per rules and regulations. That's all.My comment about 'greed' is rather general in reference to success in the perspective of business sense only. While greed is the driving force for the success/ business, it should be avoided at all cost in the religious sense. As I said before, government has a role to play as a referee, but should not play or fix the game. Most importantly, government should not have the authority to put a ceiling on the success, if it is earned by playing by the rule.

"I think greed is the mother's milk of success."Not at any cost though! You should not sell your mother for your deadly greed. In another words, we should not pollute our mother nature to make money. If we do, it will catch up with us soon or later! Money would not help us to sustain the life but less greed and less pollution would!-SD "All great truths begin as blasphemies." You are entitled to have your views, Dr. Das.I think greed is the mother's milk of success. But, you cannot have success all the time; some greed can bring failure. That's normal. No risk - no gain.

Duty of the state is to control the greed of the rich, not to encourage it. Their is no point in quoting Lincoln. He might have been a civil war hero. He was not much of anything else. On Sun, Sep 9, 2012 at 11:23 PM, Jiten Roy <jnrsr53@yahoo.com> wrote:
