[mukto-mona] Padma Bridge-Reasons for Withdrawal of Request by Bangladesh Government

Dear Readers:   Bangladesh Awami League led government took decision to withdraw request from World Bank aid on the following reasons:   First, to save former minister Abul Hossain from criminal prosecutions in Bangladesh on the World Banks's alleged bribery scam.  Secondly, to save Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's family members (Sajeeb Wajed Joy, Saima Putul and her husband) from ongoing investigations in Canada and USA for their involvements in Padma Bridge bribery scam. A date is set in a Canadian Court for trial (in April) on Padma Bridge scam against Montreal based SNC-Lavalin Company. Sources tell that Sheikh Hasina's family members were involved in the monetary transactions with the SNC-Lavalin company.  Third, to save Sheikh Hasina who was knowingly involved in the scandal through Abul Hossain. Also, she was fully aware of her family member's involvements in the monetary transaction of the bribery scam.  Finally, Bangladesh Government withdrew the request with assumption that Sheikh Hasina and her family will no longer be parties to the investigation in the USA and criminal proceedings in Canada.  Note: Bangladesh government took this decision to save Sheikh Hasina and her family members at the cost of 160 million people's unwanted sufferings.  Bestfriend
