Re: [mukto-mona] Re: The Wall

You either follow the law or you don't. I am for legal immigration so that everybody gets a fair chance to migrate to the US on their merits regardless of their skin color and origin. What Hispanics are capable of doing in the US is not the question. A person from any given country can do that kind of job too unless you think that they can't. Would not that be considered as a racist prejudice? How many low caste Hindus did you invite into your living room last time you visited Bangladesh? Talk is cheap, my dear friend! I know exactly your kinds.

There is a dilemma here. Hispanic immigrants are good when one needs them for jobs that no other groups of immigrants will do. House keeping, mowing lawn, and construction are the examples. They are even cutting fish and meat for the  Asian and African immigrants in the so called Indian and Vietnamese grocery stores. They have kept cost of living much lower than normally we would expect. That way they are contributing to American economy positively.  I don't understand how the Hispanics are mediocre. To me it sounds like a racist comment.
Any way it is all politics. Policy makers know well when they will need more or when they need to stop influx although for logistical reasons it would be very difficult to accomplish the latter. Policy makers also know why amnesty is a more practical solution in economic sense.

Countries were created on the basis of the walls. Pink Floyd and Reganites would never pay a dime for resettling the Hispanics and Mexicans, who have been crossing the border in droves. The liberals can talk the talk but will never walk the walk. Regan slogan was a mere rhetoric than real intention. If he were alive, he would not have gone for another amnesty for Mexicans and Hispanics. If US do another one, soon the country would be overwhelmed by Hispanics. And, in no time, it will be controlled by mediocre Hispanics. If wall has to go, lets open it for everybody and not only for the people, who can jump over fence faster.

From the get go want to make it clear here that neither I have formented a opinion on the Trump's campaign strategy to call for fencing out Mexican , nor just another brick in the wall(pink Floyd).
But I can't help observing that, ever since Ronald regan uttered in Berlin "go tear down the wall" , the 'wall' seems to have smeared into the psychee of republic party, in one way other. Some conservative juno dubbed that as regan at his best. Now the wall has come to a full circle with another repub calling to put just that.

Won't be hilarious if and when repub decided to bang their head to figure their out what they actually want they to do with about wall.
