There is no such thing as an enemy of an idea (Islam in this case). People and ideas cannot fight with each other; only people can fight with people. So, there are a lot of animosities and fights between Muslims and non-Muslims and between different kinds/shades of Muslims. As for atheists, they mostly talk factually and logically to persuade religious people to use their natural common sense and to stop making the world a miserable and deadly place. There are a lot of deaths and sufferings all over the world now due to corona virus. But, for example, please compare these numbers with the numbers of people who died and suffered miserably in 1971 due the Islam virus in people's brains. Hindus were indiscriminate targets of murder and heinous brutality; and a lot of Muslims were similarly targeted for not being Muslim enough! Please use your common sense and reject religious stupidity and hatred for better life on Earth for your next generations.

I believe you live in the US, Mr. Barua. Where did you see them closed? If Corona confinement made you wild, don't put it on Ramadan. In Bangladesh and other Muslim countries, some shops and restaurants are closed during daytime because there are no customers. There is no official order for such closures, if any. And I don't think there is any restriction for non-Muslims to shop and eat during daytime in those countries (I have been to many Muslim countries around the world, even in Ramadan). Three sides of my village home have Hindu houses. In the evening, there are wild sounds of Kansa, dhol, shankh, flute and Uludhani. Hindus have বারো বমাসে তের কাতি। Such celebrations and noise goes virtually round the year. I never heard any Muslim complaining.
And Mr Bain's "abusing human health!"
In my many decades of adult life, I have not seen anyone falling sick while fasting in Ramadan, even during the hottest and longest days. In Malaysia, I have seen boys and girls as young as 7-8 years fasting with no problem, even though it was not compulsory for them. They did it for fun. Besides, Islam gives utmost importance to health. Ramadan is not necessary for sick, for young (upto the age of 14), for old age and some other disabled categories.. Our good friend Razzak Syed can perhaps quote a few Qurani verses and hadiths on this.
And pricing? It is subjective. Ramadan is the blessed month for Muslims. They try to lead good, pious and healthy life during Ramadan.Iftar is more of a celebrations with entire family, relatives and friends together. It is like a party. Muslims don't mind spending a little extra during Ramadan. If non-Muslims find it difficult, they are at wrong places.
Mr. Bain, perhaps you are not aware, Jews have stricter fastings at certain holy times. I beleive even Hindus observe fast on certain occasions.
Finally, leave religion alone. It is one's own choice. Please do not offer opinion or give fatwa on something you have no idea. It goes for all denominations of faith.

দ্বিতীয়ত, বড়ুয়া বাবুর প্রচারিত দ্বিতীয় ভিডিওটি সম্ভবত মোসলেমউদ্দিনের। লুঙ্গিপড়া হাতুড়ে ডাক্তার। তিনি এই ভিডিওটি কোথায় পেলেন জানিনা, তবে ভিডিওতে আপনারাই ছবি মিলিয়ে দেখুন তা বাংলদেশের পূর্ব প্রচারিত ছবির সাথে মিলে কিনা। আমিতো কোন মিল খুঁজে পাচ্ছি না। মুক্তি যুদ্ধে মোসলেমউদ্দিন আমাদের সাথে ছিল। ৮ম বেঙ্গলে একজন নায়েব সুবেদার হিসাবে (প্ৰাক্তন পাকিস্তানী ট্যাঁক বাহিনীর সদস্য), সিলেট অঞ্চলে। একটু ভারিক্কি গোছের দেহ। বর্তমানে তার বয়স ৮০ বা তার বেশিও হতে পারে। একবার প্রচার করা হয়েছিল যে মোসলেমউদ্দিন মারা গেছে। ভিডিওতে যাকে দেখানো হয়েছে, তার বয়স ষাটের মত হতে পারে। আগরতলা চৌকির তলা।
তৃতীয়ত, ১৫ ই আগস্টের হোতাদের কে "খুনি" বলে অপবাদ দেয়া হচ্ছে। বিচার করে ফাঁসিও দেয়া হয়েছে। মানি, কিছু খুন খারাবি হয়েছিল সেদিন, যা দুঃখজনক। কিন্তু তারা কি খুন করতে গিয়েছিল ? মুজিবের সাথে বা তাঁর পরিবারের সাথে কি তাদের কোন ব্যাক্তিগত দ্বন্দ্ব ছিল ? মারতে যাবে কেন ? আমরা জানি, একটি গণবিরোধী, অত্যাচারী সরকার পরিবর্তনই ছিল তাদের লক্ষ্য। সেই লক্ষ্য অর্জিত হয়েছে। মুজিবের ঘনিষ্ঠ সহযোগীরাই হুড়মুড় করে পরবর্তী সরকার গঠন করে, যখন কিনা মুজিবের লাশ সিঁড়িতে পড়ে। ক্যাপ্টেন মেজররা নয়। সমগ্র জনতা, সারা দেশ সেই অভ্যুত্থানকে স্বাগত জানায়। সূর্য সন্তান বলে আখ্যায়িত করে। কারণ তারা সেদিন দেশটিকে উদ্ধার করেছিল, বাঁচিয়েছিল। আওয়ামী নেতা মালেক উকিলের ভাষায় অত্যাচারী ফেরাউন থেকে রক্ষা করেছিল।
