[ALOCHONA] naam bivrat

NAAN BIVRAT

My first name is MOHAMMAD and so are the first names of my brothers.
I live in my away-from-home HOME in the US. And "naam-bivrat" is always troubling
for we all have the same first name name. In the US, individuals are customarily

   called by their first name!!

One should wonder, why the kings and hundreds of "sauds" in Saudi Arabia –
(supposed to be the standard bearer of Islam) are not always named with a
prefix "MOHAMMAD"? Well, may be they are better Muslims and need
no Islamic ornamentation of their names!!

I think, our government officials should think carefully before
succumbing to the pressures exerted by many mal-educated Mollahs.

It is not at all bad to have a rather scientific system of naming that
respects family lineage.
