[ALOCHONA] Surging prices put strain on Shoppers in Bangladesh

All,

Price of everything is going up by hours in Bangladesh.  News that coming from media and by talking to people in Bangladesh,  we might see a situation like Famine in Bangladesh soon.  This time famine will occur for the price hike of essential items like rice, atta, dal, etc which is getting out of reach.

Even we can blame few reasons for the price hike,  but the bottom line is that CTG might not doing enough to control its price or provide ration which is deemed necessary.  CTG could import few items itself and distribute to the markets to keep off price hike pressure.  My personal feeling is that CTG is busy with so much with politics and corruption, they do not have enough manpower/advisers or strategic planning to control this price hike.

I believe that CTG should put equal time to secure food supply in the market by any way it can be.  People will have to survive before they can think about politics and other matters.  If my own existing becomes challenging,  I might not pay attention to anything else.  This is a simple logic.

I will urge CTG to open up more imports by its own to keep enough supply of essential items in the markets to keep the price limit in comfortable area and provide ration as soon as possible for the lower income people in Bangladesh.  CTG should put 50% of its all attention to the food supply now. Rest of 50 % effort should be in politics, corruption and other matters.

Anybody who has direct access to CTG should put pressure immediately before the situation goes out of control.
