EU recently refused to discuss Egyptian proposal of 'nuclear free midddle east'. Same to EU nations for their double standard.Those EU nations donot want to exclude Israel to dismantle its nuclear arsenal. EU want to protect Israels's nuclear superiority and refuse other ME nations to acquire that technology so that Israel remains the only Nuclear Bomb nation in the ME. This could be termed as apartheid.
Oil rich ME nations either pressure EU to support a nuclear free ME or engage themselves to build their own nuclear deterrent to answer Israel's nuclear threat. There is no other option available to oil rich ME nations to protect their soverignlty from Israel's threat.
The way U.S. ally Islamic Republic of Pakistan acqured nuclear technology, other oil rich ME nations should have done this long before to balance Israeli threat. Superpowers tried their best to stop Pakistan making the nukes without any success. If Pakistan could do this, there is no reason why other oil rich ME nation cannot achiev that objective to protect their own nation from external nuclear threat.Good news is that Islamic Pakistan became a prowd member of elite Nuclear club of the World.
