[ALOCHONA] Two great articles and why we should appreciate our secession from Pakistan

I remember the 80's life in Bangladesh. A lot of people used to
lament the creation of Bangladesh. To them "Shadher Pakistan"
represented some sort of Islamic anti-Indian utopia. People almost
losing their lungis while cheering for Pakistani cricket team was not
an abnormal scene. In 1985 Asia cup hockey, when Pakistan scored a
goal against Bangladesh, the pro-Pakistani crowd invaded the field in
a perfect rapture. I was not sure for a moment whether the tournament
was being held in Bangladesh or Pakistan. That scene for sure
embarrassed even some Pakistanis.

Now we know what Pakistan has become, the world epicenter of
terrorism. Many thanks to Allah, we are not with this subversive
country. A country with medieval barbaric mindset that prosecutes the
rape victims for adultery. A country where the rapists are free and
safe as long as there are no four male witnesses in a rape case, all
in the name of Islam under the pretext of Sharia (Hudood ordinance).
How many rape cases in the world can produce four male witnesses? Do
the rapist usually rape in front of any witnesses? Now National
Geographic Society has published a great article (cover story) about
the Pakistani society and their gross abuse of Islam in their
September 2007 issue. Here is the link to that:

Newsweek also published a cover story "The most dangerous nation in
the world isn't Iraq. It's Pakistan." in Oct 29, 2007 issue. The link:

These monsters are humiliating Islam and us. I am not sure how many
still root for Pakistan nowadays in Bangladesh. Some people will
always want to follow these destructive path and some will still pray
for their "Shadher Pakistan."

Please enjoy these two great articles and cherish our freedom and be
really grateful to the ones who made so much sacrifice to make this
happen. And remember our mothers and sisters in the following link:
