For some mysterious reasons, there has not been any initiative to compile the actual history of our Great Liberation War and separate the truth from the political versions of it.  Various quarters adulterated and exaggerated the facts in order to achieve their political and financial benefits which in turn has helped some people to make the whole issue controversial.  Sharmila Basu, an Indian researcher has come out with a unacceptable theory about the rape committed by the Pakistani Army during the liberation war.  Please read Daily Amader Shomoy for details:
