Cattle trader shot dead by BSF

THAKURGAON, Jan 5: A Bangladeshi cattle trader was
shot dead by Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) along
Ratnai frontier in Baliadangi upazila early Saturday,
reports UNB.
The victim was identified as Akhter Hossain, 35, son
of Abdus Sattar of Mridhapara village in the same
upazila.
BDR sources said BSF troops of Sonamoti camp opened
fire on cattle trader Akhter when he reached near
pillar no 382/2, killing him on the spot.
Later, BSF members took away Akhter''s body to the
Indian territory.
After the incident, BSF sent a letter to Bangladesh
Riffles (BDR) asking them to take back the body.
