The email below from Mr. Chowdhury is an example of the many problems with  Bangladeshi politics - partisanship is so bitter that the only way to engage an opponent is thru violence.

Mr. Chowdhury often surprises me with his thoughtful emails only because some of his other emails can be utterly thoughtless. Yes by all means disagree and differ with your opponent. But why threaten violence and ass kicking? Are you a mere thug? Why not display a higher sophistication?
