I am happy to share with you a good news regarding one of our few internationally known painters of Bangladesh, Khurshid Alam Saleem. World Fine Art Gallery of New York is holding a solo exhibition of his paintings at their premises at 511 West 25th Street, Suite 8023 (646-336-1677) from February 5 to 27. Opening reception is on Feb. 7th between 6 and 8 pm. Coming almost immediately after 22 NRB painters' first group Exhibition at Bangladesh Embassy at Washington D C, this exhibition by a senior artist will boost up the art activities of Bangladeshi artists. The exhibition is open to public for free.
This is exhibition of Selim known as Saleem among the mainstream painters and art lovers, marks the beginning of another hectic year like last year when he had several exhibitions in Beijing and Tokyo. Saleem's works have been very well received by Chinese art lovers. His painting will find a place in the Beijing International art biennale to be organized as part of Olympic Games festivities.
