It is almost obvious that the US media is promoting
Obama to defeat Clinton in the Democratic Party
nomination process. I have very little doubt that if
it comes to Obama versus McCain, the media will
promote the latter. Thus, the current promotion of
Obama is for putting a Republican in the White House.
Having said the above, I probably like Obama more than
Clinton. I think it was a shame that the US Congress
gave George Bush a blank check to go to war in Iraq.
And Hilary Clinton was part of that shame on the
Congress.
This country has a system of three branches of the
government. To me, one branch giving a blank check to
another is a violation of the fundamentals of the US
constitution, where each branch of the government is
supposed to exert its power and take responsibility
for it actions.
