When persons of joint Secretary get coverage and importance more than President or PM

Dear All,

Some forearm diplomats in Bangladesh are give much importance and coverage in some news papers and TV channels.Even they get more importance than our president and prime minister.what is behind the fact?don't the owners and reporters know that the diplomats are not more than a joint Secretary in rank or status or protocol.
