This analogy troubles me greatly. To me, it says that some people are
entitled to more. Even worse, it could be saying that if you don't
get to the top you are not working hard enough. Surely it is better,
by far, to have all people get some berries than some people get all
the good berries. No matter how much equipment, there is no room for
all at the top. To think so is a pipe dream.
Look at Bill Gates and Warren Buffett and those guys who are at the
top. They couldn't have gotten anywhere without the guys at the
bottom. Where do you really think Microsoft would be without the
little guys who run it? Yet, when things slow down at the company,
the little guys are thrown to the wolves, even with all the billions
Bill Gates is sitting on.
Do you really think that is right? Do you really think that anyone
could get anything without the help of another? Think about it!
