Why I told it appeasing Islamists? "GHOR PORA GORU SIDURER MEGH DEKHLE VOY
PAI".
We saw that in early Seventies Daud Haider was oust from new born Bangladesh
by the government to please the Islamists. Although Islamists were not
strong enough then, but the government was, even government did that, which
gave Islamists a moral boost for revival. After that Taslima & now
Cartoonist Arif, there are so more in between. Till today we are paying for
that mistake.
India was strong enough to save poor Taslima but it decided not to. The
whole Ramayana is based on the rescue of Sita; Droupodi was the main
character of Mahabharat & the Pandaves took revenge of Droupadi's insult! In
the same country we see Taslima is fleeing & nobody there to stand for her.
Is it not appeasing? Reason may be, Vote bank but its appeasing!
