This post is a prime example of Obamamania, in my humble view.
A couple of people question the individuals who are jumping on the
Obama/Savior bandwagon and they are the scum of the earth. Sadly,
this is the way people are pressured to follow. People who dare to
question, are ridiculed for standing apart. Not many people are
courageous enough to stand up to that kind of pressure and those who
can are the real heroes.
Farida makes a sweeping statement that people who question Obama's
honesty reveal that they themselves are dishonest. I ask Farida
whether Michelle Obama herself can even make such a statement about
Obama's honesty. What does Farida really know about the honesty of
those closest to her, let alone Obama?
And Farida, intelligent columnists are always those who hold our
personal views. If this person disagreed with you, would you still
think his opinions intelligent? From your attack here, upon those who
do not follow your line of thinking, I think not.
I have many European friends who, after seeing what happened in
Germany in the 1930's, are very weary of Messiahs.
Pray tell, what has Black musicians got to do with this issue? No one
is saying anything about Blacks. What we are talking about is a
belief in Messiahs/saviors. We are talking about people who follow
leaders blindly because they can give a good speech.
